The SWOT Analysis Of The National Collegiate Tennis Championships

Tennis is a fashionable and healthy sport,and more and more college students are beginning to turn their interests to tennis,and colleges and universities are starting to pay attention to tennis.The National Collegiate Tennis Championships has played a significant role in improving the technical level of the college tennis sports,increasing the tennis population,cultivating college tennis market and popularizing the campus tennis culture.This article will use SWOT analysis for the National Collegiate Tennis Championships as a whole,using the experience of development of American college students tennis league for reference and selecting development strategy,and provide reference for the development of the National Collegiate Tennis Championships.In this paper,the National Collegiate Tennis Championships are the main research object.By means of literature review,expert interview,and SWOT analysis,this paper illustrates the current situation of the development of Chinese and American college students tennis league and the development of National Collegiate Tennis Championships,and after analyzing internal strengths(S),weaknesses(W)and external opportunities(0)and threats(T)of National Collegiate Tennis Championships presents the SO strategy,ST strategy,WO strategy and WT strategy,then elaborate the specific application of the WO strategy which is chosen as the applicable strategy.The results and analysis of this paper include four parts.The first part is the status of college students tennis league in the United States and China.The second part is the development status of the National Collegiate Tennis Championships,from the development process,the administration,operation mode,competition system,publicity and promotion and fund operation.The third part is the SWOT analysis and matrix establishment of the National Collegiate Tennis Championships,which presents four kinds of alternative strategies,namely SO strategy,ST strategy,WO strategy and WT strategy.The fourth part is the development strategy choice of the National Collegiate TennisChampionships,which determine proper strategy——WO strategy,and specific strategies include:positioning should be clear,competition system should be perfected,derivative activities should be rich increasingly,the degree of media communication should be deep,the fund support system should be more perfect,the tennis teachers teams should be stronger and the competition atmosphere should keep being improved.
