Study On The Development Strategy Of Hubei University Basketball League Based On SWOT Analysis

CUBA is the top amateur basketball league in China,second only to the CBA.As one of the 18 key divisions in China,Hubei Provincial League has maintained a strong competitive momentum in the southwest division and the national competition.In recent years,as many participating universities pay more attention to the construction of high-level teams,they increase their investment on the original basis,and have achieved remarkable achievements with a rapid rise.In contrast,the overall competitiveness of the teams in Hubei division shows a declining trend,and there is a certain gap with the top domestic teams.With the increasing influence and attention of the first-level league,the problems in the development of the league are gradually exposed.How to solve these problems effectively is of great significance to the future development of Hubei University basketball League.This paper uses the methods of literature,expert interviews,questionnaires,on-the-spot investigation and mathematical statistics,combined with SWOT analysis in management,to analyze the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats in the development of Hubei College Basketball League.The research shows that the internal advantages of Hubei first-tier league are as follows:（1）the number of participating teams has advantages;（2）the competition is rich in comprehensive resources;（3）the favorable competition system;the internal disadvantages are:（1）there is a gap in the coaches’ coaching ability（2）the quality of students is not good;（3）the guarantee system is not perfect;（4）the media is not fully utilized.The opportunities for the future development of the league are as follows:（1）National policy support（2）Wuhan experience and association resources（3）the threat to the development of Ali Sports in CUBA;League is:（1）the strength of domestic competitors is generally enhanced（2）there is a large gap in CUBA management personnel（3）the change of enrollment policy.Through the construction of SWOT analysis matrix,the following strategies are put forward:（1）widely carry out multi-level regional exchange events（2）promote the normalization and long-term training of first-tier league coaches（3）host national college basketball events,build a game-watching platform for fans（4）broaden off-campus cooperation channels,and extensively absorb social resources（5）design talent training programs from primary schools to universities and even clubs.Form an echelon talent training system（6）extensively carry out winter and summer camps to attract high-quality students（7）give full play to the advantages of Hubei’s rich educational resources,together with a number of universities in the province to build a sports management personnel training platform（8）make full use of Ali Sports publicity platform,improve media utilization（9）promote participating schools to improve team training conditions,pay attention to the security work during the competition.
