| The first thing to learn about any language is to understand its phonetic system,especially the language teaching as the target language.As far as Chinese phonetic teaching is concerned,the biggest difficulty is the teaching of two groups of the tongue tip consonants(dental consonants and retroflex consonants).The main reason for this is that the consonants of the tip of the tongue plays an extremely important role in the Chinese phoneme system.Not only the number of the consonants is very large,but also the difference in the location of the pronunciation is extraordinarily small.It is no exaggeration to say that the choice of phonemes about consonants in Chinese is hard to match in other languages in the world.Although Thai belongs to the Sino-Tibetan language family,the teaching importmant and difficult points are also the two groups of tongue tip consonants.Because tretroflex consonants don’t exist in the Thai phonetic system,the antecedent consonant of the tip of the tongue is only s [s].Because of the absence of tongue tip consonants,which results in errors in the learning of the tongue tip consonants for thai students.Guided by the theories of phonetics,contrastive analysis,and error analysis,combined with the teaching practice in Anukoolnaree school,the thesis makes a sampling survey on the pronunciation about tongue tip consonants of nearly 300 primary Chinese learners(senior high school students)in 17 classes.Besides,on the basis of referring to scholars’ related research results and the teaching experience of frontline teachers at home and abroad,the thesis analyzes the causes of errors,probes into the concrete methods to overcome pronunciation errors,and puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies.The aim is to improve the classroom efficiency of tongue tip consonants teaching and lay a solid foundation for training learners’ good oral communication ability.The structures of the thesis are as follows: the first chapter introduces the reason,purpose and significance of the thesis,research methods and a review of domestic and foreign research results.The second chapter compares the Chinese consonant system with Thai’s,and analyzes their similarities and differences.The third chapter analyzes the causes of errors in the teaching of Chinese tongue tip consonants from three aspects: negative transfer of language,influence of target language and influence of teaching according to the survey.The fourth chapter puts forward teaching principles and teaching countermeasures in view of errors. |
