Today's education in China aims to promote people-oriented spirit and comprehensive development.It requires the educators to abandon the traditional teaching mode,which is dominated by teachers,to give the classroom to the students.Therefore,teachers should try every means to mobilize the enthusiasm of students to make them take the initiative to participate in the classroom.In order to achieve this goal and improve the teaching effect,the education needs a new teaching structure mode--Interactive Teaching.It is found that interactive teaching can cultivate students' autonomous learning awareness,ensure the students' dominant position and make students give full play to the spirit of independent innovation and cooperative exploration.Because interactive teaching can strengthen the interaction between teachers and students in order to produce teaching resonance.It emphasizes to complete the teaching process with harmonious interaction between teachers and students.Hence,as English teachers,we need to study the teaching materials and the students deeply,cultivate and strengthen our own interactive ability to break the passive and closed nature of traditional English teaching.By doing like this,we can not only improve the teaching efficiency,we can also better adapt to the development and demand of the times.This paper summarizes the research background,purpose and significance of interactive teaching;the concept,principles and modes of interactive teaching.It introduces the concept and research on interactive teaching both at home and abroad.It discusses the interactive language teaching,the main idea of communicative teaching theory and humanism theory which provide certain theoretical guidance and the support for the effect of interactive teaching on English teaching in junior middle school.Then,the author investigated some English teachers of the author's school and the surrounding similar school,ten classes in Grade Two in author's school using the questionnaire,observation and interviews.In order to study the role of the interactive teaching in junior high school and how it can mobilize the students' autonomous learning,we can understand the teachers' awareness of classroom interaction and the specific implementation ability,the students' psychological dynamics,and the factors that affect students' learning.In this paper,the influence of interactive teaching on junior high school English teaching is studied,and the conclusion is drawn.The results show that the interactive teaching plays a vital role and influence on students' English learning,whether on attitudes,habits or performance.It can stimulate students' interest in learning English,improve the efficiency of interactive teaching,students' autonomous learning ability and comprehensive quality.At the same time,interactive teaching has a great impact on teachers,which requires teachers to realize and strengthen the ability of their own classroom interaction in order to promote effective classroom interaction.
