In English classroom,game teaching method is a very important way for students,especially in the primary stage.The game is widely used by teachers,and essential.The primary school students are not mature in the psychology and physiology,and the game is the way they are pleased to learn.This article is mainly based on the theory of game teaching,a class of students in the fourth grade of primary school as the research object,to explore the new teachers in the game teaching method to improve the quality of English teaching process,and explore a more complete game teaching model.This will provide references for other new teachers.Through three rounds of action research,the game teaching of new entry teachers has been perfected,and students' interest in learning English has been improved,so that students fall in love with English learning.This thesis consists of the following five parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly includes the proposal of the problem,the significance of the research,the literature review,the ideas and methods of the research,and the innovation of this study.The second part is an overview of the theory of game teaching.On the basis of combing the related literature,the basic concepts,related theories,classification and characteristics of game teaching are analyzed.The third part is the design and implementation of the action research on the application of game teaching method in primary school English class.The design of the action research of the game teaching method applied in the primary school English classroom illustrates the problems,the research objects,the research methods,the research tools and the research steps of this article.The action research of the game teaching method applied in the primary school English class is divided into three rounds to implement.Each round of action is divided into four steps: planning,implementation,observation,and reflection.The fourth part is the data collection and analysis of action research.Firstly,it analyzes the situation of the questionnaire,including: the influence of game teaching method on students' interest in learning English;the influence of students' learning anxiety on English learning and students' views on English game teaching.Then analyze the student's three rounds of test scores and two final exam results.It is concluded that playing games can help improve students' English performance.The fifth part is the conclusion and suggestion of the study.The conclusion of this study is that the application of English game teaching is conducive to improving students' English performance,improving students' interest in learning and reducing their anxiety in learning English.It also puts forward suggestions for new teachers to use game teaching.
