A Comparative Study On The Pedagogical Content Knowledge Of Biology Teachers In Different Professional Background

The reform of the teacher education system for the non-normal colleges and universities of the comprehensive university graduates into the ranks of teachers to build a new development platform.In recent years,Primary and secondary school teachers in the proportion of non-teacher teachers continue to rise.Pedagogical content knowledge is the core of teacher's professional knowledge,based on a new round of curriculum reform,a comparative study on the PCK of biology teachers in different professional backgrounds(here the different professional background refers to the first professional type for the teacher professional and non-normal professional)is conducive to speed up the professional development of biology teachers,with high practical value.This study explores the differences in the level of pedagogical content knowledge in different backgrounds of biology teachers by means of literature analysis,questionnaires,classroom observation and comparative studies and analyze the reasons behind the differences.The study found:there are differences in the pedagogical content knowledge of different subject background biology teachers;the influence of professional course learning on the pedagogical content knowledge of novice teachers;the teacher's professional skills of the novice non-teacher professional teachers need to be improved.On this basis,put forward to strengthen the professional awareness,improve the school mentoring system,strengthen pre-service teaching practice,pay attention to self-reflection,pay attention to the application of educational information technology and other targeted training strategies,so as to provide a reference for shortening the growth path of non-teacher professional biology teachers and provide guidance for the professional development of teachers.
