The 21 st century is an era of vigorous development of life science.The constantly updated scientific knowledge and advanced science and technology not only affect and change everyone's life,but also pose new challenges to biology teachers in middle schools.Especially in recent years,under the background of the new curriculum standards and the new college entrance examination,both the teaching content and the teaching mode have put forward higher requirements for high school biology teachers.Under this background,it is particularly important for high school biology teachers to continuously improve their biological professional ability and accomplishment,acquire more education and teaching knowledge,and master more approaches and methods of teacher professional development.Of this study was to understand the current status of the high school biology teachers' professional development level in Shandong province,analysis of different degree,different regions and different professional background of high school biology teachers on teachers' professional development level differences,in order to help in the high school biology teachers to recognize the current on the professional development of our shortcomings,sent to clear their own professional development,promote the professional development motivation,at the same time to the school and the related education management departments to develop teachers' professional development activities to provide referential suggestions.This research adopts the questionnaire investigation,using scientific theory and method of middle school biology teachers' professional development survey questionnaire,and then through the biological teaching and research section of Shandong province by questionnaire star software to the questionnaire of high school biology teachers in Shandong province,and the recycling effective questionnaire using SPSS software for data analysis,illustrate the current status of each high school biology teachers' professional development in Shandong province,And feelings from ethics norms and education,and class management and comprehensive educational ability,quality and teaching ability,communication ability,professional cooperation in different areas in Shandong province in five aspects,the different professional background,the different orientation of high school biology teachers in difference analysis,at the same time,based on difference analysis of high school biology teachers' professional development in Shandong province countermeasures and strategies.Based on the analysis of the questionnaire survey results,the following conclusions are drawn:Firstly,the overall level of professional development of biology teachers in high schools in Shandong province is relatively high,but some aspects need to be improved.The specific performance is as follows: better occupational understanding,but lower mean value of occupational emotion;Strong class management ability,but the ability to improve students' learning needs to be improved;Have rich subject teaching knowledge,but not enough general knowledge understanding and grasp;It is not enough to carry out biological experiments,and the ability of experimental teaching needs to be improved.Secondly,there are significant differences in the professional development of high school biology teachers in Shandong province.Embodied in: the city high school biology teachers' professional development level is higher than the county high school biology teachers,but should further enhance their classroom management skills and the ability to grasp of the subject knowledge,while the county high school biology teachers in the teacher's ethics should be the feelings and the education,teaching methods and teaching skills of operation ability and education scientific research ability and so on efforts;Male teachers are better than female teachers in class management ability,mastery of subject knowledge and general knowledge,scientific research ability and experimental operation ability.The non-enrolled teachers are not as good as the biology teachers in terms of class management ability,comprehensive education ability and teaching ability.The overall professional development level of high school biology teachers graduated from normal university is higher than that of high school biology teachers graduated from non-normal university.The professional development level of high school biology teachers with master degree is higher than that of high school biology teachers with bachelor degree.Based on the analysis of the survey results and research conclusions,finally,this study mainly from the general high school,high school biology teachers themselves two aspects of the professional development of high school biology teachers in Shandong province to put forward specific promotion strategies.
