With the deeply-constant reform of new curriculum,geography teaching in senior schools attaches more attention to cultivating students' logical thinking.Inductive ability and deductive ability,as a vital part of logical thinking,plays a significant role in geography teaching classes.Moreover,curriculum contents propose some specific requirements to cultivate the students' abilities of induction and deduction in curriculum standards.This paper aims to put forward a comprehensive teaching planning combined conceptual maps with geographic information technology to cultivate students' inductive and deductive abilities through questionnaire surveys,which is also based on the specific analysis of teaching materials--"Desertification Prevention and Control".Combining the teaching aims in curriculum standards with the ability training,the teaching planning changed the traditional form of "teacher-centered" classes and visualized the abstract geography and geographical principles.Furthermore,during the process of team cooperation to explore how to make conceptual maps,students can affiliate themselves with geography learning,which can not only stimulate students' interest and enhance learning abilities,but also promote the teaching efficiency.The purpose of this paper is to provide some beneficial reference for further research on geography teaching,and to deepen and implement the new ideas and aims of new curriculum.
