Science education in primary schools is the basic project to improve the scientific literacy of all the people and build an innovative country.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to attach importance to science education in primary schools.However,the science education in primary schools in our country starts comparatively late,and there are many problems in faculty and teaching.The conditions of science education in primary schools in Gulou District of Fuzhou,Fujian province is the research object of this project,and researching from the three aspects including the current situation of faculty,the teaching environment situation and students' learning situation,this project adopt the method of questionnaire investigation and interview to investigate the teachers of science education and students of Grade 3 to Grade 6 from 17 public primary schools in Gulou District of Fuzhou,Fujian Province.A total of 61 valid questionnaires from teachers and 863 valid questionnaires from students were collected.Through the statistical analysis of the results of the survey,we can find out the main problems of the science education of primary school in terms of faculty,teaching environment and students' learning.Through cause analysis of these problems,the author put forward corresponding suggestions based on four aspects including the education administrative departments,schools,teachers and parents,hoping to provide guidance to the development of science education in primary school in Gulou District.
