How time flies! The 21st century is the new century, featured with the creation and application of knowledge. Elementary education is a"tomorrow"project. Successful science formative education can lay a basis for public science aptitude. At present,there are some urgent problems for us to investigate,such as how the Science course reform has being carried out ? Are there any problems in Science teaching? S0,keep an eye on the teaching of Science course in Hailing district in Taizhou city practically has an important significance.Questionnaires,interview were used in the study. Under the guidance of the expert,a thorough investigation of the present conditions of Science teaching in primary school has been carried out through questionnaires to teachers,students .The investigation relates to the basic information of Sciences course arrangement,the basic information of the Science teachers,general information of the teaching of Science,the teaching resources of the sciences course and the Sciences teachers, training etc in Hailing district in Taizhou city. The objects of the investigation refer to 70 teachers,440 students of local 10 schools,getting 58 copies of teachers'questionnaires and 411 copies of students,. According to the conditions of Taizhou city,5 city primary schools and 5 town Primary schools were investigated.The whole paper is divided into three parts. The first chapter introduces the reason why the author chooses this topic and current situation of primary science is summarized. The research significance is clarified. Research methods in this paper are introduced. In the second part, some aspects are used to describe primary science, such as situation of primary science education, professional development level and awareness about professional development of beginning teachers, the problem in face of beginning teachers, expansionary action of school administration. In the meanwhile, in order to know the situation of Professional improvements of elementary science teachers better, the author carries an investigation towards the beginning teachers'career specification and their imaginations towards the professional improvements. On the basis of the above descriptions, the author will ponder over the recent situation,and find out the real problem.The third part tries to construe the elementary Science teachers'Professional improvement environment and illustrate the improvement maps from teachers'professional improvements, Psychology, teachers'professions, new courses, elementary science teachers and so on. Accordingly, from the perspective of full-time and part-time education,we propose several measures to promote the elementary science teachers'professional improvements.The investigation also reveals the advantages and disadvantages existed in Science teaching in Hailing district in Taizhou primary schools,which has provided some useful actual materials for improving the teaching of Science in Hailing district in Taizhou primary schools. Furthermore,some Counter measures and suggestions were given such as changing teachers'teaching notions , enhancing teachers'training and using some appropriate teaching methods etc.
