The college student is regarded as important human resources of our country.In recent years,the employment of college students has become very serious social problem.How to help college students to find a satisfied job has been a hot topic that all sectors of society should confront.On the other hand,it is common that many college students felt confused about their careers.They don't know what kind of career they should choose and what type of work they should be occupied in.Perhaps,even if they know what kind of job they want to choose,they do not know how to achieve their goals.Facing such severe situation and such fierce employment competition,college students should get ready for as well as lay a solid foundation for their career success in advance.Some scholars thought that the core of the individual career preparation is to develop their career adaptability.Career adaptability is not only the key to college students' career success,but also is the key to solve the problem of college students'career development.Therefore,with the improvement of the college students ' career adaptability,not only their employment but also their subjective well-being can be enhanced.Objectives:(1)Explore the applicability of the Chinese version of career-specific parental behaviors Scale(CCSPBS)under the background of Chinese culture.(2)Base on the relationship between career-specific parental behaviors,future work self,career exploration,conscientiousness and career adaptability;explore the mediating effect of future work self and career exploration on career-specific parental behaviors and career adaptability.(3)Base on the mediating effect of future work self and career exploration,to build a moderated mediation model between career-specific parental behaviors and career adaptability.Then to explore the moderated mediation effect of future work self;career exploration and conscientiousness.Method:This study selected 413 college students as the subjects.Using questionnaires we measure the college students' career-specific parental behaviors,future work self,career exploration,conscientiousness and career adaptability.Result and Conclusion:(1)The Chinese version of Career-specific parental behaviors Scale(CCSPBS)showed up good reliability and validity under the background of Chinese culture.(2)The results showed high level of future work self,career exploration,conscientiousness,and career adaptability.The overall level of parental support is higher than parental interference and the lack of parental career engagement.(3)Students' parental support of career-specific parental behaviors were positively correlated to future work self,career exploration,conscientiousness,and career adaptability.Parental interference of career-specific parental behavior was negatively correlated to career exploration,conscientiousness,and career adaptability.The lack of parental career engagement of career-specific parental behaviors was positively correlated to career exploration.(4)Students' future work self and career exploration play an intermediary role between career-specific parental behaviors and career adaptability.Career-specific parental behaviors don't directly affect the students' career adaptability,but affects students' career adaptability through the mediation of future work self and career exploration.(5)There are a moderated mediation on the relationship between career-specific parental behaviors and career adaptability.Future work self,career exploration play an intermediary role between career-specific parental behaviors and career adaptability.Conscientiousness moderated the relationship between future work self and career adaptability,as well as between career exploration and career adaptability.
