In order to cultivate students' core competence in foreign languages,improve the level of English teaching of our school and promote the development of students' multiple intelligences,the subject is based on scientific argumentation.Therefore,the research group develops a set of high quality homework for the textbooks English in Mind.This article mainly adopts documentation method,questionnaire method,interview method,case analysis method and so on.Based on the current situation of research on homework and school-based assignment by experts at home and abroad,research and development method,principles,theories of psychology and Pedagogy of the existing printing manual of the textbook,thus the official printing manual for the book English in Mind was born.Finally,the effect of this manual is verified through surveys and interviews with some teachers,students and parents.From the research data and interview results,The amount of the revised edition of English homework is moderate.The proportion of teachers who identify it account for 50%,The proportion of students is 80.1 percent and The proportion of parents is 83.3 percent.Students' favorite contents are songs(100%),vocabulary(86.1%),paper(88.8%)and drama(66.7%).However,interest of the revised edition needs to be improved,only 46.7% of the teachers believe that the revised edition can take into account the interests of the students according to the questionnaire.In general,the research and development of the project has been highly evaluated.Peer experts think highly of this project.They say it has the following advantages: various types,rich content,innovation,emphasize culture,moderately difficult and moral education.But there are also some flaws at the same time.For example,it has less basic knowledge,there are fewer topics in situational communication,it's less interesting and so on.Seen as a whole,the newly developed official printing manual for the book English in Mind possesses the following characteristics: various types of questions,rich content,innovative,language returns to culture,moderate degree of difficult and has the function of moral education.Hope it will be useful for the schools and institutions that use the materials to improve their English teaching level.
