Listening is an important condition that we contact with the outside world and is also the crucial approach of English learning to accept information.With the frequent communication with the world,English as the communicating medium is so essential that we should pay more attention to the listening comprehension.To improve the students' listening level is not only the main objective of English teaching in junior high schools,but also the requirements of social development.And the English listening test,as one of the key means of evaluating students' English listening level,is bound to promote the teaching and learning of English listening in junior high schools.According to the results about relevant researches,this paper explores the listening test proposition rules of Jilin province among 2011-2016,and proposes the corresponding listening strategies,aiming to improve students' listening situation and put forward the beneficial enlightenment for the daily listening teaching practice.Based on the listening test research at home and abroad and the actual situation of listening teaching and learning in junior high schools in our country,this study uses synthesis,analysis,inductive and deductive method to study the proposition tendency of English listening tests from 2011 to 2016 in Jilin province;then collects the data from three aspects as question type,topic,and the examination site respectively to compare and analyze for scientific evaluation in the content of the English listening test validity;finally,conducts the listening test proposition rules and proposition trends in language examination from macroscopic perspective and brings enlightenment to English listening teaching and learning in junior high schools.The results show that there are the characteristics of setting questions in the English test and its development tendency in type,topic,and the examination site.The author provides some instructive suggestions for the teachers in listening teaching in junior high schools.Teachers should improve students' listening ability in listening strategies,language knowledge,language knowledge,background knowledge and subject;strengthen the students' basic knowledge and pay attention to cultivating students' good listening habits;build up students' language awareness to ask them use English thinking in solving listening problems to improve the interests in English listening.The study has a very positive significance for teachers in clearing English test proposition direction to have targets for English listening and teaching.
