A Study On The Stereotype Of Northeast People From The Perspective Of "Bias Map" Theory

In modern society,the discussion of the northeastern people is increasing,backward and poverty,violence and aggressive,low quality and heavy relations,etc.The northeast and northeast people generally commented on the negative geographical stereotypes,which seriously affected image and self-esteem of the Northeast,it is harmful to harmony between groups.However,What is the perception and attitudes of the northeastern people,the perception and response of the northeastern people to discrimination,the cause of negative stereotypes and the way out of the future?This is what we need to focus on the content of this article.This paper uses the interview method and the questionnaire method,using the stereotype content model and the bias map theory to study the geographical stereotypes.The study found that in the eyes of the "other",the northeastern people belong to the group of high enthusiasm and low ability,have produced like and vigilant emotions,and their main behavior response to active help and passive injury.Correspondingly,the northeast people have their own group of preferences.Secondly,in view of the extensive discussion of the northeastern region and the northeast people in the present society,the author thinks that the geographical prejudice and discrimination have been formed to some extent.From this point of view,the discrimination and response of the northeast people should be further studied.The study found that people in the interpersonal,work and life feel a variety of negative evaluation and treatment,which formed the "cold violence" of interpersonal relationship,the invisible exclusion of the life and do not agree with their own identity,in the threat of identity,personal through the balance of their own ability and the reality of the situation,they choose active and passive behavior strategy.Finally,the external negative evaluation of the Northeast is mainly due to the backward development of the Northeast,while other regions rely on the higher status of economic and cultural power to look down on the northeast.But to decrease the discrimination against the northeastern region,in addition to other areas of people to change the "overlooking the northeast" mentality,more importantly,the Northeast region must develop the economy.
