A Study On The Present Situation Of Students Participation And Development Of CUBA League Matches (Sunshine Division) In Universities Of Harbin

The development of Chinese University Basketball Association(CUBA)is the milestone of physical education reform in China.It has a huge significance in promoting the development of sports in universities.Although CUBA(Sunshine division)has been formed for just two to three years,the enthusiasm of participants is very high in various regions across the nation.As an important industrial city in the northeast China,Harbin has a large number of colleges and universities.The students’ participation in the CUBA(Sunshine division)forms a significant driving force and plays a significant role in promoting the development of sports education in Harbin.In this thesis,the situation of students’ participation in CUBA(Sunshine division)carried out in Harbin is analyzed;specific factors hindering its development are evaluated;effective solutions to these problems are proposed.This paper utilizes various research methods like literature review,interview of experts,mathematical analysis and logic analysis to scrutinize the problem raised.At the same time,a survey in form of questionnaire was conducted among university students in Harbin to gather their feedback.Through research and analysis,the paper arrived at the following conclusions:1,The number of participants of CUBA(Sunshine division)in Harbin increased over the years.This has catalyzed the development of CUBA(Sunshine Division)competition and improved college students’ awareness of the CUBA(Sunshine Division)events.2,The lack of professional basketball techniques and confidence created a barrier to college students in Harbin from participating in the CUBA(Sunshine division)tournament.The university management’s awareness of the event is poor,limiting the scale of promotion of the event among university students.3,There are limited number of basketball venues and facilities in colleges and universities in Harbin to support the needs of students,limiting the development of CUBA(Sunshine division).4,There is insufficient professional basketball coaches in Harbin to provide professional guidance to college students.A large number of students are unable to get professional guidance while participating the event.This creates a huge obstacle for the development of the CUBA(Sunshine division)events.5,The learning environment for basketball is not conducive enough in Harbin colleges.The management,organization and publicity of the CUBA(Sunshine division)is relatively weak,reducing the enthusiasm of the students.
