With the flourish of CUBA China university basketball tournament,more students enter university as basketball students with special skills.However,behind the brilliant development,there are also many obstacles and crises in the development.One of the most prominent problems reflected in the basketball league of the super group is the “contradiction between learning and training” of athletes.At present,the super group with college athletes as the main body receives more attention.However,the newly developed CUBA Chinese University Basketball League(Sunshine Group)has received little attention.And compared with the super group of college basketball league,the Sunshine Basketball League of College Students has a clear positioning.It stipulates that all college athletes must be students who take and pass the National College Entrance Examination and do not accept any sports bonus policy.Ordinary college athletes not only have lower competitive ability than high-level athletes,but also have poor basketball foundation and uneven level.They need more time to train and strive to improve their athletic performance.However,the graduation requirements of ordinary college athletes are higher than those of super group athletes,so it is easy to have cognitive confusion and development influence on the dual identity of “student” and “athlete” of college athletes.This will lead to the problems of college athletes’ ambiguous recognition of their dual identities and realistic development.If the laws and problems of the development of their cognitive process cannot be accurately defined and the corresponding measures cannot be taken,the accumulated contradictions will inevitably hinder the healthy development of the competition.It is worth pondering to understand and improve the development of CUBA(Sunshine Group).In order to understand the current situation of the dual identity development of college students in Sunshine Group,this paper adopts the methods ofliterature research,expert interviews,mathematical statistics and Pareto analysis,and college athletes of 31 teams who participated in the finals of the 4th CUBA China university basketball league(Sunshine Group)as the subjects of investigation.This paper investigates and discusses the college athletes(basic information,training situation,after-class learning situation,attitude to training and learning),coaches(basic information),school systems(attention to the basketball team,curriculum arrangement for students,medical supervision system for the basketball team,preferential policies for students)of these teams,so as to understand the development status of the dual identities of the college athletes in Sunshine Group and the factors affecting the development of the deal identities of college athletes.The following conclusions can be drawn:(1)In the research of this paper,among the 236 players who participate in the 4th CUBA China university basketball league(Sunshine Group),the understanding of their dual identity development is not uniform,most of them believe that the dual identity development is unbalanced.(2)Through the investigation and study of 38 coaches,most of them think that the development of the dual identity of college athletes is unbalanced.(3)The training time of most Sunshine basketball teams cannot be guaranteed.The training objectives and motivation of college athletes are single.Compared with learning,they lack the enthusiasm for training.There are conflicts between time and energy in learning and training,which are not conducive to the long-term development of the basketball team and affect the development of the Sunshine Basketball League.(4)Most of the schools do not attach enough importance to their basketball teams and do not have enough funds.The basketball teams have a single source of funds,so they cannot provide better training conditions,which will affect the enthusiasm and training effect of college athletes.In addition,during the training period,there are few basketball exchanges among colleges,and there is no process of "Promote competition practice".The defects of the teams cannot be seen intuitively,so targeted training cannot be made,which affects the improvement of the overall sports level of the team and the balanced development of the dual identities of college athletes.(5)The management of college athletes is still inadequate.There is aconflict between learning and training time,which affects the balanced development of college athletes’ dual identities.Moreover,there are still some deficiencies in setting up curriculum,training management,reward and punishment system,logistical support system,medical supervision and preferential policies for college athletes.(6)The main factors influencing the balanced development of college athletes’ dual identities are as follows: coaches’ teaching level,schools’ attention degree on the basketball team,the reward and punishment system of schools for the basketball team,students’ identification with their dual identities,students’ attitude towards participating in basketball training,schools’ arrangement of educational system towards the basketball team(whether to extend the school year or not),schools’ curriculum for the basketball team,the perfection of school logistics for the basketball team(site,equipment,funds),the schools’ preferential policies for the basketball team,students’ academic performance,the training management system of schools for the basketball team,basketball level(with a certain basketball base).
