In recent decades,education and evaluation of key competencies have gradually attracted worldwide attention,and in many countries and regions,it even has become the basis of making education policy and the reform of education.In the face of the ever-changing social and economic changes,"how to cultivate the next generation of youth successors" has become the thinking proposition of many countries and regions around the world.At the same time,the education concept centered on " key competencies " is increasingly accepted and well known in the geography teaching.With the new curriculum,new curriculum reform,and the new reform and education concept,the current geography review preparation strategy is also undergoing subtle changes.The new geography exam outline clearly points out,in addition to examining students' basic knowledge and skills,it is clear that students should pay more attention to the comprehensive application of basic knowledge and skills.It also requires students to improve their ability to describe and interpret geography and phenomena,and to improve their ability to use geographic knowledge and principles to demonstrate and solve geographical problems.Students are required to have high geographical science competencies,have a keen sense of touch to get useful information from the exam,have clear thinking to discover and deeply analyze the practical problems existing in the production and lives.At present,the review preparation work for most middle schools in Hebei province commences at the end of the second year of school.The main melody in this school year or even longer is to repeat,improve,and prepare for examination.During this time,teachers need to integrate,conclude,refine all the university entrance exam content.In response to the key adjustments and changes in the college entrance examination,the review preparation strategy for the college entrance examination will also be adjusted and improved accordingly.This paper makes a comprehensive discussion on the concept,connotation and constitution of key competencies through literature analysis.At the same time,it introduces the key competencies concept of geography discipline,and extends and organizes it.Through the interview method,questionnaire survey carried out on teachers,deeply learn the advantages and disadvantages of the present classroom teaching mode,and put forward opinion suggestion,and further explore and improve the present study model.This paper is divided into four levels,first,introduce the research background and significance of the key competencies,purpose and significance of the geography preparation strategy of college entrance examination under the concept of key competencies;Second,the shortcomings and problems of traditional geography class;Third,elaborates the strategy of preparing for the examination,and elaborates the current geography review preparation question based on the specific cases.Fourth,the advantages and disadvantages of the paper.
