Since the 21 st century,key competencies has become a hot topic which has aroused extensive research.Although key competencies is a new formulation,it has a good practical basis in China,related to the basic concepts of the new curriculum reform and quality-oriented education intrinsically in China.It meets the basic requirements of students' development and reflects the basic laws of classroom teaching reform.At present,the research on key competencies is also focusing more and more on how to really implement key competencies into the development of students through the reform of curriculum and teaching.This study is a preliminary exploration,focusing on how to cultivate students' key competencies in the teaching of "arithmetic" in primary school mathematics.In elementary school,the teaching of "arithmetic of numbers" is very basic and very important.It plays an important role in students' study and life,and also has important value in the cultivation of students' key competencies.On the basis of reviewing the existing literature on key competencies and mathematical operation,This paper mainly focuses on the four main research issues in the teaching of "number operation" in primary school mathematics: what key competencies should be cultivated,how to embody the cultivation of key competencies,what are the teaching strategies of key competencies cultivation,and what are the factors of key competencies cultivation,in order to provide some suggestions for teachers to better implement key competencies in classroom teaching.It is found that in the teaching of arithmetic operation,the cultivation of the mathematical key competencies of is the main one,but it also embodies the cultivation of students' core quality of discovery.Based on the analysis of the essence of arithmetic operation,the requirements of curriculum standards,the analysis of existing teaching cases and the collation of interview materials,the main embodiment of arithmetic operation teaching is constructed.The key competencies framework is used as a tool to conduct in-depth analysis of four teaching cases.Combining theoretical analysis and specific teaching case analysis,this study summarizes the teaching strategies of cultivating students' key competencies in the teaching of "arithmetic of numbers" into six main aspects: analyzing the essence of arithmetic teaching,defining the orientation of key competencies,grasping the cognitive basis of students,carrying out teaching based on understanding,creating reasonable problem situations,triggering students' cognitive conflicts and paying attention to the depth of arithmetic.Understanding,exposing the reasoning process of operation,paying attention to the optimization and summary of algorithm,organic integration of arithmetic,emphasizing the penetration of ideas and methods,and understanding the basic principles of operation.In addition to the essential problems and basic requirements of the teaching of reaction operation,it is also of universal significance to other teaching contents.At the same time,this study further analyses the factors that may affect the cultivation of key competencies in the teaching of "arithmetic of numbers",which are mainly divided into teachers' recognition and understanding of key competencies,teachers' grasp of the essence of teaching content and the design of teaching process,students' learning foundation and classroom participation,specific teaching content and the arrangement of unit content.These factors are common.It affects the content,mode and level of the key competencies embodied in the teaching of "arithmetic of numbers".Finally,based on the whole process of the study,this paper summarizes the training of teachers' core competence in operation teaching,and puts forward some suggestions and reflections.
