An Empirical Study On The Relationship Between College Students' Media Use And Attention To Politics

The rapid development of new media put college student in the environment where information explosion,cultural diversity,and it affects the values of college students groups.According to the World Values Survey,data show that in recent years,our college students have a clear downward trend in the recognition of political importance.College students are responsible for the future of the country,and their degree of concern for politics is very important.Among them,the use of media factors play an important role in college students'political attention,but for a long time,scholars have failed to conduct a systematic empirical study of the relationship between the two.The paper establishes the index system of media use and political attention and puts forward the hypothesis of the relationship between the two.The questionnaire was used to collect the data of college students' media use and current affairs.The empirical analysis of regression modeling was used to study the relationship between the two and the internal structure.Through the analysis of the model,the following conclusions are obtained:There is a positive correlation between the media use and the attention of current students in our country.The four factors,such as media occupancy,media environment perception,onlookers and deep participation,have a significant effect on college students' political attention.According to the empirical results,in order to improve the degree of concern for college students,the government should play a leading role in strengthening the supervision of the network environment and strengthening the macro guidance of college students' media literacy education.Media to play the advantages of communication,to actively carry out the importance of media literacy education and dissemination of relevant knowledge to enhance their own media credibility.Colleges and Universities Should Implement Various Measures to Train College Students' Media Accomplishment.Such as increasing investment in campus media resources,the creation of media literacy courses,the establishment of a higher level of media literacy teachers,to carry out a variety of activities.College students to play a subjective initiative,establish a national ownership consciousness to cultivate the habit of paying attention to politics,learn to explore the truth in the network,to establish the correct right and wrong,to the United States as the orientation,in the creation of beauty in life found beauty.
