Parents set their children an example of living,their ideas and behaviors will exert a subtle influence on children both physically and psychologically.Now,more and more students face the problems like obesity,myopia,one of the reasons for their physical deterioration is that lack of exercise.It requires great efforts in different aspects to enhance the students' physical health and cultivate students' lifelong sports consciousness,while middle school students live primarily in the family,it is of great significance to analyze the influence of family environment on the cognition and behavior of middle school students' extracurricular physical exercise.This paper applies the method of documents,investigating method,mathematics statistics method,logical analysis method etc.We have interviewed the students in grade seven to nine from Suzhou Zhenhua Middle School,Xinghai Middle School and the tenth Middle school in Suzhou industrial park area and Suzhou High-tech Zone Experimental High School,so that we couldlearn the impact of the family environment on the students' participation in extracurricular physical exercise cognition and behavior from the family perspective.The purpose of the research is to improve the extracurricular physical exercise behavior of middle school students and encourage students to do the extracurricular exercise,alongside that,the research could provide reference for the healthy constitution of middle school students,and theoretical basis for the further development of middle school physical education reform.The results are as follows:(1)The majority of the students' parents have a better understanding of physical exercise,and often discuss the topic of sports with children,but only a few know the scientific exercise method and exercise with their children after school,what's more,only a small numberof the parents pay close attention to sports events and sports news and watch them everyday.The vast majority of thestudents' parentstake a positive attitude towards the exercise,and exercise for 1 or 2 times a week,each time lasts for 20 to 40 minutes,moreover,they prefer the entertainment-oriented leisure activities.(2)The students have have better understanding in sports,with the highest behaviorcognitionin extracurricular physical exercise,followed by target attitude,behavior attitude and behavior habit.However,their behavioral intention,subjective standard and behavior control are relatively low.Middle school students often take extracurricular physical exercise in the living area or commercial gymnasium.They exercise for3 to 5 times a week at most,mostly for 20-40 minutes each time,its exercise intensity is at medium level like running.(3)Among the different family structure,the family structure of the core family is more likely to foster the extracurricular sports behavior of middle school students.However,there was no obvious connection between parents' educational level and the students' cognition and performancein extracurricular physical exercise,which indicates that the cognition level of middle school students in extracurricular physical activity is not affected by theparents' educational level.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between family and extracurricular physical exercise in behavior cognition,behavioral attitude,behavioral habit,target attitude,behavioral intention and behavior control,which means that the relationship of family is becoming more harmonious,and that student will has higher behavior cognition in physical exercises and will be more active in behavioral attitude.The relevance between family relationship and student's behavior is the largest,but it is not related to the subjective standard of extracurricular physical exercise.That means students will not be effected by family relations when they do extracurricular physical exercises in the subjective standards.(5)There is a significant positive correlation between the consumption of physical education in family and the student's cognition and behavior in extracurricular physical exercises.But the correlation with behavioral intention and behavior habit is the largest,which indicates that the higher the consumption of family sports are,the more accurate their behavior cognition will,Behavioral control,target attitude,behavioral habits,behavioral intention and subjective standards tend to be.(6)There is a significant positive correlation between the existing physical equipment in family and the student's cognition and behavior in extracurricular physical activities,which also form a maximize relevancy with the student's behavioral intention.It means that the more existing sports equipment student has,the more voluntary thestudents is in physical exercise.(7)The frequency of parental exercise is positively correlated with students' cognition and behavior of extracurricular physical exercise,and the relationship with the behavioral intention of students has the largest connection,which means that parents participating in exercise is more frequent,the more students can improve the autonomy of extracurricular physical exercise.The behavioral cognition,behavioral attitude,behavioral habits,target attitude,behavioral intention and behavior control sense are significantly positively correlated with the parents' exercise duration,but there is no significant correlation with the subjective standard.It shows that the subjective standard of students participating in extracurricular physical exercise does not affect the duration of parental exercise.(8)Parent's attitudes towards sport are positively correlated with students' cognition and behavior of extracurricular physical exercise.It indicates that the better attitude of parental sports hold,the students' conscious of participating in extracurricular physical exercise will be strong,and the sports behavior will be more easy to produce.Among them,the highest correlation is the students' behavioral cognition,and it shows that if the parents hold better sport attitude,the students' awareness of the behavior tends to be good.(9)The family sport atmosphere is significantly correlated with students' awareness and behavior of extracurricular physical activity.It proves that if the family sport atmosphereis better,students' awareness and behavior on the various dimensions of exercise performance are more relegated to good.The most relevant factor is students' behavioral intention,and it also contributes to help students develop good habits of physical exercise.
