The ideological and political course of middle school is the main way of moral education of middle school students.It has an important influence on the formation of students’ world outlook,outlook on life and values,and the formation of students’ model of thinking and learning to observe and deal with problem in the right way.But in reality,many students have learning burnout problems in the study of ideological and political course.This is the problem and challenge faced in the ideological and political education.Therefore,this study takes middle school students as the research object,to realize the current situation of middle students’ ideological and political course learning burnout.This study,based on the theory of self-determination,explores the effects of perceived teacher’s autonomy support and basic psychological needs on the ideological and political course learning burnout.The first study revised the questionnaire on the basis of existing studies for measuring middle school students’ ideological and political course learning burnout,and tested the reliability and validity of revised questionnaires.At the same time,combined with the needs of this study,questionnaires of perceived teachers’ autonomy support and basic psychological needs were adjusted to meet the ideological and political course learning of middle school students.The second study conducts a questionnaire survey for 290 high school students with revised questionnaires.The second study aims to realize the development of middle school students’ ideological and political course learning burnout,and to explore the relationship of teacher’s autonomy support,basic psychological needs and learning burnout in ideological and political course learning.Through questionnaire survey and statistical analysis of data,the conclusions indicate following:1.Middle school students have a certain degree of ideological and political course learning burnout,some students have a moderate level of burnout.On the gender side,the total score of boys’ ideological and political course learning burnout is higher than of girls,but the gender difference does not reach the significant level.On the grade side,there are significant differences between the different grades of middle school students in the total score of ideological and political course learning burnout and three dimensions.2.In the ideological and political course learning,perceived teacher’s autonomy support,basic psychological needs and ideological and political course learning burnout have obvious correlation,perceived teacher’s autonomy support and basic psychological needs can predict the level of ideological and political course learning burnout.3.Between perceived teacher’s autonomy support and middle school students’ ideological and political course learning burnout,basic psychological needs have complete mediating effect.
