Research On The Children's Education Thought Of Zeng Guofan

Zeng Guofan is the minister,foreign affairs official of the late Qing Dynasty,together with Li Hongzhang,Zuo Zongtang,Zhang Zhidong were called "The four greatest officials in the late Qing Dynasty",He is known for raising and organizing the Xiang Army.He loves reading,has been described as " The last Daru of late Qing Dynasty".Zeng Guofan's achievements in children's education is quite prominent,Zeng's family play a great role in trades,and his thoughts on children's education is greatly embodied in his home letters,diaries and poetries.For more than 100 years,scholars have studied the thought of Zeng Guofan,and Zeng Guofan's thoughts on family Education have been developed and interpreted again.The study of Zeng Guofan's educational thought is not only to explore the reasons to the success of his children's education,but more importantly to find its modern value in the process of inquiry,to inspire today's children's education.This article is divided into four parts to study Zeng Guofan's thoughts on children's education.First of all,starting from Zeng Guofan's life and his children's educational thought,we can clarify the general development of Zeng Guofan's life in periods.Secondly,combining the background of the times,we explored the origin and formation process of Zeng Guofan's educational thoughts.And we elaborate the main contents of Zeng Guofan's educational thoughts in detail.Finally,it makes an objective and fair evaluation of Zeng Guofan's educational thoughts,and explores the contemporary values of Zeng Guofan's family educational thoughts.
