Since the founding of the Republic of China,the political,economic and cultural changes have taken place several times.During the past 30 years the Reform and Opening has brought remarkable achievements.The upheaval of half a century shows such a feature:The process of modernization is advancing in a continuous state,while there are several social movements which are prone to sudden changes.Such a feature makes the values of the Chinese change dramatically because of the different times,and this change is particularly significant in the view of marriage.From the perspective of population developments,"after 1960" and "after 1990" is the two generations of father and son.They were born and grew up in social movements.But due to the content of the social movements are different,the values and behavior patterns of after 1960 and after 1980 have obvious intergenerational differences.Regarding with marriage,the two generations are entirely different in terms of spouse selection,family division of labor,fertility and sexual attitudes.As an important part of view of life values,the view of marriage is one of the main angles to observe social changes.The changes on view of marriage from after 1960 to after 1990 not only embodies the ideology of contemporary China being more inclusive and free,but also reflects the development of China's social,political,economic and cultural changes.It is helpful for us to understand the influence of the background of the times on the socialization of human beings and to accurately and comprehensively grasp the trend and deep causes of the change of contemporary youth's view of marriage,so as to provide realistic reference on how to achieve the integration and stability of the view of marriage and family in the society transition and it's significant to enhance the family stability and harmony,and to achieve the orderly development of society.The formation of the view of marriage is one aspect of the socialization process,reflecting how people in the social life to accept and form their own marriage and family concepts and attitudes.Society is always in the development of change,especially after the founding of the country almost every decade there is a qualitative change in China,and due to the different periods of birth and growth,the two generations must experience different social landscape.According to life course theory,the formation of the view of marriage can be regarded as the process of continuous construction of marriage values under the larger social background.Therefore,the author utilizes the perspective of life course theory,connects the formation of the view of marriage with the economic and cultural environment,the experience of social and historical events and so on during different intergenerational groups' birth and growth period,in-depth study of social structural factors' influence on the differences in inter-generation's view of marriage.This paper uses after 1960 and after 1990 as the object of study,compares and analyzes the differences between two groups' view of marriage.The author takes the city of Dalian as the site of the field study,and selects 15 after 1960 and 15 after 1990 as the interview object through the non-probabilistic sampling method and conducts an in-depth interview from six dimensions on spouse standards,view of marriage,view of fertility,view of sex,view of divorce and view of family division and as an observing participant,the author also visited the Labor Park Sunday blind date in Dalian,accessed to a large number of emotional information.In the process of data processing,combined with the secondary analysis of the literature,the following conclusions are drawn:the different backgrounds of life experience for the two intergenerational groups as after 1960 and after 1990 lead to the differences between the two groups' view of marriage.Compared to after 1960,the after 1990'view of marriage is more diverse,open,and inclusive;to avoid the intergenerational conflict,it is necessary to establish a communication mechanism and strengthen the guidance of public opinion as two aspects to promote the intergenerational integration of view of marriage,so as to ensure the healthy operation of society.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.First of all,it introduces the research background,the theoretical and practical significance of the research.Then it summarizes the research results from domestic and abroad,and finally the relevant explanations of the research design,including the concept definition,the research methodology and the logical framework of the research.The second part is the summary of the intergenerational differences between the after 1960 and after 1990.The author first analyzes the background of life experience respectively for after 1960 and after 1990,and then analyzes the intergenerational differences between after 1960 and after 1990' on six aspects:spouse standards,view of marriage,view of fertility,view of sex,view of divorce and view of family division.The third part is the analysis of the reasons that influence the intergenerational differences in view of marriage.By summarizing the interview data,it is considered that there are four factors that affect the intergenerational differences in view of marriage,which are the influence of economic system reform,the influence of social values,the influence of mass media and mobile internet,and the influence of social system.The fourth part is about the intergenerational integration of view of marriage.Proposed to face up to the intergenerational differences in view of marriage,to fully understand the positive and negative significance behind the intergenerational differences.On the basis of this,through the establishment of intergenerational communication mechanism and strengthen the guidance of public opinion,to pursue the intergenerational integration of view of marriage.The fifth part is the conclusion.On the basis of summing up the conclusion of this paper,the author analyzes the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.
