Research On The Development Strategy Of XD Secondary Vocational School

With the rapid development of economy,the demand for skilled talents is growing.The secondary vocational education,as an important part of the vocational education system,is responsible for cultivating skilled talents and serving local economic development.However,nowadays,the secondary vocational schools have lots of trouble in developing.Facing the increasingly fierce competition situation,how can the secondary vocational school remain invincible and how to develop it in a healthy and lasting way is an urgent problem to be solved.If the schools want to develop well,they must formulated the corresponding development strategy which is based on the actual situation of the school.And under the guidance of the strategy,they can develop rapidly and steadily.In this paper,XD secondary vocational school was taken as an example to study the development strategy of secondary vocational schools.Firstly,the theory of strategic management was reviewed.Then based on the actual situation of XD secondary vocational school,the external environment was analyzed by PEST macro environment analysis method and the internal environment was analyzed by value chain analysis,by which the internal and external environment of the secondary vocational school was revealed.Secondly,SWOT analysis was used to find out the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of school development.Combined with XD secondary vocational school development environment factors,SWOT strategic analysis matrix was used to select suitable development strategies.Thirdly,the balanced scorecard method was used to give an evaluation to the development strategy,through which the influence of the indicators in the index system on the implementation of the development strategy was obtained,which provided the basis for implementation and guarantees.Finally,a series of development measures were proposed to insure the implementation and ultimately the purpose of sustainable development of the school was achieved.
