| Moral relativism is one of the more attention of domestic and international trend,which seriously affects the rapid spread of modern people’s moral life harmony,especially in the world outlook,outlook on life and values of contemporary college students in the process,the mind is not yet mature,the thing discrimination ability is poor,will no doubt this trend of thought the negative impact and shock,serious harm to the formation and development of good moral character.Contemporary college students are the backbone of China’s future education.Whether they can form good moral character will even affect the improvement of the whole society’s moral level,social harmony,stability and development.Therefore,this paper through the analysis of the research status of many domestic and foreign scholars on the moral relativism,using literature research method,interdisciplinary research method and comparative research method,in-depth study of moral relativism,and adopt effective measures to resist the erosion of moral relativity on College Students’ Ideological and moral,social security and development of students formed a good idea character.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an overview of the basic theory of moral relativism,and a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the related theories of moral relativism.In order to have a better understanding of moral relativism,we first need to understand that its connotation is derived from the connotation of relativism,including cultural relativism and personal relativism.Secondly,it clarifies the reason why moral relativism prevails in three aspects: the coming of the consumer society,the spread of nihilism and the impact of the technical age.Finally,it points out the shortcomings of the theory of moral relativism,which lays down the damage to the moral character of college students.The second part expounds the related theories about the ideological and moral character of college students.First of all,the connotation of the ideological and moral character of college students is expounded,and the ideological and moral character ofcollege students is a complete concept.Secondly,the structure of moral character is composed of five parts: moral cognition,moral emotion,moral belief,moral will and moral behavior,namely,knowledge,emotion,faith,idea and action.It is in the process of mutual transformation and intersecting between the five elements of moral character that the ideological and moral character of college students can be formed and developed.The formation of good moral character,which helps to achieve the goal of moral education,raise the level of morality and complete the unification of theory and practice,is significant for college students.The third part combines the subjects of the first two parts,comprehensively and deeply analyzes the harm of moral relativism in the formation and development of College Students’ moral character.Including the moral relativism because of its own defects that students are not bound by traditional virtue and regulation,lead to moral cognition deviation,moral behavior choice confusion,causing the college students despise moral authority,despise moral belief,cause the students’ individualism,money worship ideas grow.From these four aspects,we analyze the hindrance function of moral relativism in the formation and development of College Students’ moral character.We can see that it is urgent to explore the way to eliminate the harm of moral relativism to college students’ moral character.The fourth part is the key content of the article,which is to eliminate the concrete countermeasures of moral relativism to the moral hazard of college students.We should strengthen the traditional virtues education and enhance the self-discipline ability of college students.In particular,we should clarify the goals of traditional virtues education,standardize moral behaviors,enhance the sense of identity to traditional virtues,and cultivate self-discipline spirit consciously.Correct the moral cognition of college students and enhance their ability of moral discrimination,including mastering the concept of morality,improving the ability of moral judgement,building moral consensus and perfecting the mechanism of moral evaluation.We should strengthen the construction of moral example and consolidate the moral belief of college students.In particular,we should pay attention to the example education of college students,give play to the exemplary and leading role of teachers,and also laystress on moral reconstruction and break the crisis of moral belief among college students.Finally,we should actively guide students to overcome the tendency of individualism collectivism,establish moral values,including,let students improve the collective awareness of the relationship between individual interests and collective interests correctly,cultivate collectivism,guide students to establish a scientific outlook on life.In conclusion,the author appeals for the negative influence of moral relativism.It should arouse our reflection on relativism education,and urge all sectors of the society to further study and discuss moral relativism. |
