As the basis of social communication,people's social cognitive ability is really important.In the research of social cognition,psychological theory,as a new research field,has attracted more and more attention.As a part of psychological theory,the reasoning ability of secondary false belief appears based on primary belief.At this time,children have faith in the content of other people's psychological activities,which can reflect the essence of psychological theory,and this ability is highly related to higher social skills.However,previous studies mostly focus on primary belief,pay less attention to secondary false belief,and training research is more rare.The picture book story is vivid and interesting.It not only has rich psychological theory value,but also can arouse children's interest in exploring the inner world of the role in the process of reading,so as to reason other people's ideas,and then promote the development of their advanced false belief reasoning ability.However,teachers pay less attention to the role of picture book story in social cognitive development in teaching,Moreover,most of the previous intervention training used classic belief stories with fixed structure,which lacked ecological validity.This study intends to use the classical research paradigm of Chinese secondary false belief to analyze the development status of Chinese children's secondary false belief.Design 12 picture book stories suitable for Chinese children,use different feedback methods to train children's secondary false belief reasoning ability,and explore the impact of picture book story reading on the development of children's secondary false belief reasoning ability under different feedback methodsOne-hundred-twelve children were trained with second-order false belief tasks in one of the following conditions:(a)feedback with explanation;(b)feedback without explanation;(c)no feedback;(d)active control.Research Results:(1)Children aged 5-6 can basically pass the first level false belief task test,but they can not completely pass the second level false belief task test.(2)Picture book story reading can improve children's secondary false belief reasoning ability.(3)Under different feedback methods,the training effect of picture book story reading is different.The training of feedback and interpretation group can promote the development of children's secondary false belief reasoning ability.Second-order false belief task is due to the lack of experience,but if we often give them a large number of stories containing false beliefs and give feedback,their reasoning ability will be improved.
