With the rapid development and wide application of artificial intelligence technology,"computational thinking" has become one of the important abilities of talents in the intelligent era,and "computational thinking" has been listed as one of the core qualities in middle school information technology courses,which has attracted much attention.As the basic course of artificial intelligence in information technology courses,open source hardware has been opened in many middle schools,but the teaching is mainly about imitation,without paying attention to the improvement of students' computational thinking.Junior middle school is the stage of "building the foundation,laying the foundation",is the key stage of the development of students' computational thinking,more should be to emphasize the process of students' experience in practice with the help of computers to solve practical problems.In the teaching of "open source hardware",the ability of computational thinking is integrated into the teaching of open source hardware,so that students can experience the process of problem discovery,problem analysis,abstract modeling,algorithm design,solution formation,optimization and migration,so as to achieve the purpose of developing computational thinking.Under the guidance of "learning by doing" theory,activity theory,situational cognition theory and experiential learning theory,combined with the characteristics of junior high school students' information technology teaching and psychological development stage,"open source hardware" teaching design integrated with computational thinking enhancement,and applied it in teaching practice.The research mainly adopts action research to train students' computational thinking ability as the main line,fully excavates the consistency and similarity between the training goal and "open source hardware" training goal,constructs the general process suitable for "open source hardware" teaching and applies it to teaching practice.Through three rounds of empirical studies,the study ensured that the general teaching process of "open source hardware" remained unchanged in each round of teaching,adjusted teaching strategies and changed teaching methods according to the real feedback of teaching students,so as to achieve the teaching goal of improving computational thinking.Analyzing the data of the students' computational thinking ability scale,action research assisted measurement questionnaire,the classroom observation and the feedback of the completion of the work,it is concluded that the course teaching has basically achieved the course objectives,the students have basically mastered the circuit knowledge,formed the initial ability of algorithm design and programming,and the computational thinking ability has been generally improved.This paper is mainly divided into six parts to elaborate the design,implementation and result analysis of the study.The design and implementation of "open source hardware" teaching has enriched the information technology teaching resources,is conducive to the effective development of information technology classroom teaching,provides practical reference for the formation of "open source hardware" teaching model,and promotes the "open source hardware" teaching to pay more attention to the cultivation of students' computational thinking.
