Chemistry is a relatively mature basic science,students are exposed to more abstract things such as elements and chemical formulas in the process of learning chemistry,which have not been exposed to in their previous life.The visualization of the molecular space structure presented in two-dimensional representation on textbooks is lack,students have certain difficulties in cognition and memory and need some means to assist in learning.In addition,in many cases,students' experimental experience is not enough.This is caused by many reasons,including a considerable number of experiments in chemical experiments are dangerous,the experimental phenomenon is not easy to observe,experimental equipment in some school is limited,it can not guarantee replacement in time,and the task of teaching is tense,making the students' experimental experience little or not sufficient experience the experimental process.The inquiry experiment occupies an important position in middle school chemistry curriculum.It is important practical activities for students to actively acquire chemical knowledge,recognize and solve chemical problems,and also are necessary for building basic knowledge of chemistry and improving students' accomplishment.Augmented reality technology is an efficient teaching assist technology in the information epoch.By overlaying the scenes of the real environment and the virtual scene,it visualizes the abstract and incomprehensible concept of knowledge and creates an immersive learning environment for students to achieve the purpose of constructing knowledge.This study combines augmented reality technology with chemistry learning.It can not only visualizes the molecular structure but also allows students to experiment without the lab environment.Based on augmented reality technology,this paper analyzes the research status of augmented reality technology at our country and abroad,especially in the field of education at first.Then,an overview of augmented reality technology was conducted and the theoretical basis for designing this augmented reality technology learning APP was studied.After analyzing the status quo of middle school chemistry teaching and three representative cases,the designprocess of this APP was elaborated in three aspects: system overview,vision and function design,and interviews to APP developers.In the end,the author summaries the research of this paper,puts forward its shortcomings,and looks forward to the next steps.Summarize a relatively clear design idea and flow,provide effectively information reference and communication for designers in APP design field.The design scheme can be directly applied to the development.The developed APP can be used in the learning process through practice,which saves the APP developer's early research and design time.Strive to be able to combine the unique advantages of augmented reality immersive design with teaching content through design,create a relaxed and harmonious learning environment for students,and make students learn easily and effectively in a environment which combines virtual and realistic.
