Since the 18th CPC National Congress,cultural confidence plays an important role in promoting the development of the nation,and university teachers have become the focus of this era because of their important responsibilities of cultural transmission and cultural innovation.Anhui province,as a strong cultural province,has put university teachers in an important position in the construction of cultural confidence.The important status of teachers in colleges and universities is also reflected in the core participants of education,which is the power and source to promote the full play of university functions.Although university is often referred to as "ivory tower" and considered to be divorced from reality,college has never been alienated from society,it recruits students from society then returns them after several years of education,thus it is the product of socialization.Therefore,having a whole picture of the profession development condition of teachers in universities and colleges is not only the intrinsic requirement of the university but also the internal requirement of society.As a result,the importance of university teachers is self-evident.It is unavoidable to clarify the university teachers' career cognitive.Especially in the time of globalization and informatization,teachers are facing the conflicts of multi-culture and complicated values,which brings great challenge to the development of universities and colleges.With the reform of education and the continuous advancement of university governance,the ideological and political work of university teachers is the response of this challenge.The ideological and political work of teachers in colleges and universities is aimed at cultivating individuals to meet the needs of society.It is based on the study of the thoughts condition of university teachers,examines the overall quality of the university faculty,and nurtures the core socialist values in order to provide a strong ideological protection for running a socialist university with Chinese characteristics.Regarding to the research of university teachers,the researchers mostly focus on the teaching and scientific research of university teachers and the design school system,or dedicate to improve university teachers' professional identity,and neglect the self observation and evaluation of the teachers in the university,and lack the all-round understanding of the college teachers' professional cognition.From the perspective of role theory and university teachers themselves to explore,with empirical analysis is the innovation of this article,which is different from other studies.The author,based on the perspective of role theory,relies on the research of the thoughts condition of staff of Anhui province universities.Taking provincial universities as samples,the author persists in problem orientation,and realizes a descriptive study of university teachers' occupational cognition.First of all,to manipulate the university teachers' career cognitive in college teachers' occupational role cognition,working status and development prospect as the breakthrough point,combined with the theory of social stratification and objective analysis of university teachers,career cognitive form social background.Secondly,from the job motivation of university teachers and the post-employment role self-position analysis,this paper summarizes the professional self-cognition characteristics and the occupational cognition types of university teachers,then points out the specific responses of university teachers in career cognition,and investigates the negative tendencies presented therein.Furthermore,figure out the causes from macro and micro facets to provide power points for the development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities.Finally,makes a predication to the trend of teachers'professional cognition,and gives several suggests,based on the perspective of applied research,to alleviate the negative tendency of college teachers vocational cognition from the dimensions of society,university and self-enhancement.Deepening the research on university teachers' professional identity,which not only helps to grasp the ways to improve university teachers' professional identity,enhances the attraction and cohesion of colleges and universities,but also promotes the development of ideological and political work in universities and lays the foundation for the great rejuvenation of Chinese dream.
