This study explores the effects of long-term effects in green exercise on physical and mental health by comparing the differences in physiological,psychological and behavioral indicators before and after Green Exercise and exercise in indoor environment,in order to explore the health promotion mechanism of green exercise,and help people better get the physical and psychological benefits of exercise to provide scientific experimental basis.In this study,we use the outdoor sub yoga practitioners as the green exercise group(n=28),the member of the health club yoga class as the indoor group(n=25),from November 14,2016 to January 8,2017.The subjects were followed for a 8-week follow-up survey.At the end of the first week of exercise and the 8th week after the end of exercise,BMI index,physical fitness,life satisfaction,psychological stress were assessed.Every 2 weeks use the questionnaire of exercise feeling and perceived exertion(RPE)to as follow-up survey.The results showed that:1,physical fitness(F=4.87;p<0.05),life satisfaction(F=5.11;p<0.05)had significant interaction effects.The physical fitness of green exercise group showed a significant improvement after 8 weeks,while the physical fitness of indoor group decreased after 8 weeks of exercise.Similarly,the life satisfaction of green exercise group increased significantly after 8 weeks,the life satisfaction of indoor exercise group is slightly lower.2,psychological stress(F=9.22;p<0.01)had main effect,but there was no interaction effect of time x group in psychological stress(F=1.65;p>0.05).green exercise group and the indoor exercise group experienced a significant decline in psychological stress,but there is no significant difference between green exercise group and indoor group in exercise intention and psychological stress trends.3,BMI index did not change significantly in both green exercise group and indoor group.No significant main effect(F=0.22;p>0.05)and interaction effect(F=1.12;p>0.05)were found in BMI index.4,RPE(F=2.86;p<0.05)had main effect,but there was no interaction effect of time x group in RPE(F=0.18;p>0.05).Exercise feeling(F=2.74;p<0.05)had significant interaction effects.The Exercise feeling green exercise group showed a significant improvement in 8 weeks,while the exercise feeling of indoor group decreased in 8 weeks of exercise.5,In the experiment group,the psychological stress and the the change of life satisfaction(r=-0.20;p>0.05),and the change of physical fitness(r=0.04;p>0.05)was not significant.Similarly,in the control group,tthe psychological stress and the the change of life satisfaction(r=0.02;p>0.05)and the change of physical fitness(r=-0.07;p>0.05)was not significant.Conclusion:(1)Compared with the indoor exercise,participation in green exercise has a positive effect on life satisfaction and physical fitness,suggesting a positive effect in promoting the benefit of the physical and mental health;(2)Compared with the indoor exercise,participation in green exercise has a positive effect on exercise feeling during exercise;(3)Indoor exercise and green exercise can both reduce the psychological stress and RPE,but participate in green exercise and indoor exercise does not have significant differences;(4)Changes in psychological stress and physical fitness changes,life satisfaction changes,exercise feeling changes are not related.Stress Recovery Theory may be more appropriate to explain the stress recovery caused by green exercise in acute stress stress situations,and the applicability of pressure recovery theory to long-term participation in green exercise situations still needs further validation.
