The dimension of social mobility shows a horizontal change in the region and a vertical change in the social stratification. In general, geographical changes in the landscape are large, showing a high level of openness and high liquidity. The upward changes in the vertical changes of the social stratum show a directional effect of positive progress. The vigorous implementation of the development of secondary vocational education as a social policy not only expands the opportunities for the labor groups to accept vocational education, but also creates the basic conditions for promoting the social mobility of the labor groups. How secondary vocational education affects the social mobility of its graduates has become the source of this research. This article focuses on secondary vocational education to study the social mobility of graduates. The theoretical logic of the research is based on the "Blau-Duncan" status acquisition model and related social mobility theory.Based on the practical logic of the research, this article selects the Chongqing WY technician college as the representative survey site to determine the student group graduated from this college for three years as the survey object. In terms of the research methods,a questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews are conducted, supplemented by statistical analysis to investigate the initial career acquisition, career changes, initial salary levels, differences between household registration and employment, and employment approaches of 600 respondents. In terms of the research methods,a questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews were conducted, supplemented by statistical analysis to investigate the initial career acquisition, career changes, initial salary levels, household registration and employment differences, and employment approaches of 600 respondents.Through an in-depth survey questionnaire, interview records, and data analysis,we explore how the secondary vocational education,as a consequential factor, affects the social mobility of graduates in an open society.Social policy is an important factor affecting various behaviors of secondary vocational education. The effect of social policies is influenced by the design of national top-level systems, education implementation and enterprises.Through comparative analysis of these aspects,it is found that the current secondary vocational education has certain problems such as lack of system, differences in supervision, and different levels of implementation which present the insufficiency of the internal mechanism of secondary vocational education policies. These deficiencies have a direct and negative impact on the social mobility of graduates of secondary vocational education. In response to this,we put forward different levels of thinking and suggestions to promote a positive effect on the social mobility of graduates. The congenital factor is another important one that affects the social mobility of the graduates.Through the comparative analysis on the occupation, educational level and economic level between the graduates and fathers,we can discover the role and inadequacy of secondary vocational education in promoting the social mobility of graduates even to confirm the supporting role of the congenital factor in the social mobility. In the open society, the acquired factor includes secondary vocational education, social policy and the individual's own efforts which is the major influence on the social mobility of graduates from secondary vocational schools, constituting the conditions to affect graduates' social mobility with the congenital factor which plays a supporting role.Besides, there is a two-way relationship between secondary vocational education and the social mobility of graduates. We can reversely explore the top-level design and policy adjustment of the new secondary vocational education system,in exploring how secondary vocational education affects the social mobility of its graduates,to promote the long-term development of secondary vocational education, which is the ultimate significance of this paper.
