The Research On The Course Of Juvenile Jail

The high number of juvenile delinquents has led to a surge number of juveniles in prison.How to has the juvenile who were in the prison gone through this course and what impact the supervisor has experienced on it?Based on these questions,this study use the life course as the research perspective,and conducts depth interviews with 13 juvenile who are under the age of 25,and to explores the course of their supervisors,the change and the influence.Accordingly,put forward the professional social work to carry out the recommendations and think about how to return to the community of the juvenile.The study found that the crime incident causes the juvenile to enter the jail to accept the punishment of the law.The course of the prison is divided into three stages:the enter stage;the adaptation stage and out of stage,each stage in the emotional level from fear to accept calmly and finally excitement and anxiety;environmental adaptation level from fear of strange to adapt and calmly deal with and adapt to the new environment;knowledge of criminal events from confused unknown to understand and the rethinking of crime.Through the further analysis of the impact on the changes,it was found that the supervision process had a disadvantageous cumulative transformation into three types of differentiation of juvenile that is delinquent,deep and suspend.Based on the above findings,it is formed the framework of professional services for prison social work.From the individual level,it applies professional methods of social work in combination with the principle of "individualization" to carry out meaningful services.It promotes the improvement of peer relations and the family relations and the reconstruction of social relations from the support network level.The system level of established the "seamless convergence" system form in supervision and return to the community.From the perspective of returning community,it puts forward suggestions of some countermeasures to construct the social support of juvenile delinquents in terms of promoting self-serving juveniles to adapt themselves to society,increasing social tolerance,and increasing policies to support juvenile.
