Rescarch On The Currcent Situation And Countermeasures Of After Class Basketball Training In Urban Primary Schools In Zhoukou City,henan Province

Basketball is a kind of ball game with wide participation in our country and it has always been popular among students of all ages.General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that the “three big balls” should be promoted and only by laying a good foundation can make gradually improvement when he visited the Chinese delegation of the Summer Youth Olympic Games on August 15,2014.It shows the importance of basketball training in the primary schools.This research uses a variety of methods,including field surveys,expert interviews,and questionnaires to investigate the present situation of extracurricular basketball training in urban primary schools in Zhoukou city,Henan Province.The survey includes: students',coaches' and parents' situations,training contents,conditions and time as well as the situation of competition held about the after-school basketball training in urban elementary schools in Zhoukou city,Henan Province.According to the survey's results,this paper analyzes the advantages as well as problems in the extracurricular basketball training of urban primary schools in Zhoukou city,Henan Province,and puts forward feasible countermeasures for the existing problems.Through investigation and research,it is concluded that there are good aspects in extracurricular basketball training of primary school in Zhoukou city,Henan Prov ince:1.Students are highly motivated to participate in after-school basketball trainin g and have wide interests in basic skills and tactics training.2.The coaches are meticulous and careful in their work,and their age structur e tends to be younger.They have higher educational background and rich teaching experience.3.Parents generally support students to participate in extracurricular basketball training;4.The basketball field facilities available for after-school basketball training are in good condition with sufficient training time.Through investigation and research,it is concluded that there are some proble ms in extracurricular basketball training of primary school in Zhoukou city,Henan Province:1.The head teacher doesn't pay enough attention to after-school basketball trai ning;2.The overall quality of the coach team needs to be improved,and the trainin g subsidy of the coach is low;3.The training plan made by the coach is not scientific,and the emphasis onthe training content is different.4.Some parents of students have doubts about the positive influence of studen ts' participation in extracurricular basketball training;5.Low update frequency of training equipment,insufficient training funds and single channels of social sponsorship.In view of the existing problems,the author puts forward the following counte rmeasures:1.Improve the attention of the head teacher;2.Improve the overall quality of the coach team and increase the training subs idy for the coach;3.Improve the scientificness of the training plan and balance the proportion of the training content;4.Reduce or eliminate the parents' doubts about extracurricular basketball traini ng;5.Improve the update frequency of training equipment,increase capital investm ent,and expand social sponsorship channels.Through the above countermeasures,it will improve the present situation of aft er-school basketball training in urban primary schools of Zhoukou city,Henan Provi nce.
