The phenomenon of left-behind children in rural areas is an inevitable and long-existing social phenomenon in the process of economic transition in China.The psychological health problems and personality characteristics of left-behind children have become one of the problems widely concerned by all walks of life.More and more experts and scholars study the special group of left-behind children.The research on left-behind children in sports is also increasing.However,the research on healthy personality cultivation of left-behind children is relatively few.Therefore,this paper explores the relationship between school physical education and healthy personality cultivation of left-behind children to provide a certain theoretical basis for the development of healthy personality of left-behind children.This article investigated 300 students in 4th Middle School,5th Middle School,Xiguan Primary School and Danzhuang Primary School in Donga County,Liaocheng City,by using the Eysenck Personality questionnaire for Children and the questionnaire for the participation of Left-behind Children in School physical Education in Donga County,Liaocheng City,mainly through the literature material method,the questionnaire survey method,the mathematical statistics method and so on.The results show that:1?The The weekly physical education classes of the left behind children are all required according to the requirements of the school.There is no significant difference between the personality traits,so it is impossible to determine whether physical education has an impact on the training of the healthy personality of the left behind children.2?The participation of left behind children in extracurricular sports has significant differences in mental quality and neuroticism,and has a significant negative correlation.The more scores of extracurricular sports activities,the lower scores and lower scores.It shows that the left behind children are more cheerful,mild temperate,more loving and compassionate,and have stronger adaptability to environment.And the more extracurricular sports activities more emotional reaction more stable,more calm and temperate events,individual emotions can develop well.3?There are significant differences in mental quality and neuroticism in left behind children's extracurricular physical training,and there is a significant negative correlation.Left behind children who participated in extracurricular sports training were more loving,compassionate,mild and rude,and had strong adaptability to environment.When they were calm,their mood could develop well and steadily.The more left behind children participate inextracurricular physical training,the higher scores they have in internal and external direction.The left behind children are more cheerful,extraverted,more active in thinking and more active in behavior.4?There are significant differences in mental and neuroticism of left behind children.The lower scores of extracurricular sports competition,the more care and understanding of the left behind children,the more cheerful and generous nature,and more easily adapt to the environment,and more stable emotional development,less anxiety and tension,and more calm and impulsive when things happen.This paper makes a research and Analysis on the situation and personality characteristics of left behind children's participation in school physical education,extracurricular sports activities,after-school sports training and after-school sports competition.It is proved that school physical education has a positive effect on the mental quality,internal and external and neuroticism of the personality characteristics of the left behind children.It can be considered that school sports have a positive influence on the healthy personality of left behind children.
