Study On The Cultivation Of Contemporary College Students' Values In The Virtual Society

Contemporary college students have become a part of the main body of the virtual society,Which was prompted by the development of cyberspace and internet technology,and which is consisted of virtual digital numbers and signs,and in which various virtue activities are being conducted by the virtual individuals.And the college students are actively participating and behaving in the virtual space,which is both open and covert,full of different thoughts,Which pose great challenges to college students' values,which will have an influence on the college students' behavior in the virtual society.Based on the related literature about the college students' values in the virtual society,this paper discusses the definitions and connotations of virtual society and the education of college students' values.And based on the analysis of the data of moral education from the college websites and the interviews to the moral educators in colleges,this paper discovers that,the college students' values in the virtual society are featured as unconsistency,contradiction and diversity.Taking the influencing factors to college students' values into consideration,coupled with the features of college students' values in virtual society,this paper analyzes the existing problems and causes in the education of college students' values in virtual society in terms of the different roles the country,the society,the college,and the individual of the students themselves has played in it.The main body of this study is the existing problems and causes in the cultivation of the college students' values in virtual society.Three kinds of relations must be dealt with well,namely the relationships between virtual society and reality,the relationships between theory study and practice,the relationships between,the core values of socialism and the college students' values.Meanwhile,two key problems must be paid enough attention to: One is the coordination between the cultivation of college students' values and the development of our society,the other one is that the cultivation of college students' values must be based on Marxism theory.Therefore,this paper put forward four aspects about the ways of cultivation.First in terms of the country,The main stream ideology must be advocated,And the core values of socialism must be cultivated and practiced,And the related regulations and laws to direct the running of virtual society must be erected,improved,and put into practice.Second,in terms of our society,the main stream media must shoulder its responsibility to guide the public opinion to the right direction,and build a good atmosphere of social education.And the online and off line education must be combined together to fill up the vacancy of social values education bidirectionally.thirdly,in terms of college,The contents and the pedagogy of values education in colleges must be updated constantly,And online education platform must be established,the morality of the teachers themselves must be improved and optimized.The online working ability of the educators must be improved.At last,in terms of the students themselves,The reflection ability and self discipline must be activated.The resources in the virtual society must be made full use of.the potential of family implicit education must be exploited In order to build a healthy atmosphere of family online education.
