With the rapid popularization of the internet, virtual space based on it has involved more and more human beings’activities, and has eventually formed the virtual society. The thesis interprets the significance of molding college students’morality and characters in virtual society under the perspective of Max’s theory of Human-beings’over-round development. According to the above interpretation, the thesis makes detailed analysis of the great impact from the formation of virtual society on college students’moral characters molding in both positive and passive sides. The negative effects mainly expose some college students’dilution or lack in morality cognition, morality emotion, morality will, morality faith even morality behaviors under the background of virtual society. Serious features such as the openness of the network, the rapid transmission of information, and so forth, make different ideologies and views of value interact in such a background. As the frequent users, college students can be keenly aware of the obvious cultural contradiction. Due to their immature in cognition and the distinguishing ability, college students always have difficulties in making correct judgement when they face different ideas and value views, which eventually leads to the moral cognition fuzzy. Meanwhile, the network has broken the limitation between time and space. It is of great help in promoting interpersonal communication among college students. However, some of them are quite addictive to such a closed environment, namely human-being---machine---human being. In this case, they deviate from social realities and become indifferent in morality emotion. Facing various fresh and complicated information of the virtual society, some college students fail to resist the networks’passive effects, and get to fragile in morality will and perplex in morality faith, which thus gives rise to morality behavior faults. The thesis aims to analyze the factors that cause the college students’lack in social morality and characters under the background of virtual society from both external and internal influences. Finally, it proposes some plausible suggestions and solutions as follows, reinforcing the network legislation from external controls, improving the self-consciousness, self-recognition, self-inspection and self-speculation, focusing on the education and conducts in morality cognition, morality emotion, morality will, and college students’"Cautiousness" online etc. in this way, they can have access to the perfection of molding their moral characters.
