In 2011,the curriculum reform strongly initiates student-centered teaching model,which aims to develop the students' ability to explore,thus “theme-based” teaching was born under the background of this reform.As a new teaching model,it requires to have a distinctive teaching topic during the classroom teaching,in order to dominate the teaching content of this lesson.So it is very necessary and feasible to conduct this kind of teaching model during the history teaching in middle school.Firstly,it conforms to modern teaching theory of constructivism education,and the prevailing history teaching reform is just carried out under the guidance of Constructivism;secondly,the prevailing history curriculum system has one characteristic,that is,presents the teaching content in the form of learning theme,which makes it easy to conduct the “theme-based”teaching during the history teaching in middle school.Of course,since the author is responsible for teaching practice in classroom of Junior Grade Two and Senior Grade One at the same time,the author finds the fact that the “theme-based” teaching is not always the same during the actual classroom practices in different grade or different learning situations.To this end,on the basis of further discussion to the necessity of implementing “theme-based” teaching model in the history teaching in middle school,the author probes to correct teaching strategies in process of implementation through the interviews to students and teachers and arrangement of the contents,which aim to solve the problems during the implementation.Faced with different learning situations in different teaching circumstances,we should carry out correct “theme-based” teaching strategies.On the basis of improving teaching level,the “theme-based” teaching provides one more choice of teaching methods for history teachers in middle school.
