In the context of a new round of curriculum reform,the 2017 edition of history curriculum standards for senior high schools has been published.Under the guidance of the new curriculum standard,the unified edition of teaching materials has been widely used in senior high schools all over the country.Teachers all over the country generally reflect that the textbook has many knowledge points and a large amount of information,but the overall teaching hours remain unchanged,so there are many difficulties in the actual teaching.In order to achieve the goal of efficient teaching and cultivate students'core quality of history,teachers need to integrate the teaching content and carry out theme teaching.In the textbook outline of Chinese and foreign history(?),the content of Chinese modern history accounts for one third of the content,with a total of 6 units and 14 lessons.The content of historical facts is complex,covering many historical events and historical figures.It is difficult for teachers and students to digest and absorb this part of knowledge.At the same time,due to the limitation of high school class hours,teachers need to integrate knowledge for theme teaching in actual teaching,so as to lead students to better grasp the relevant knowledge points in the limited class hours.Based on this understanding,this paper takes the theme of "learning from the West in modern China" as an example to analyze the theme teaching and try teaching practice.This paper is divided into the following four partsThe first part:high school history theme teaching connotation and implementation significance is the first to grasp the content.In thematic teaching,we should pay attention to the overall connection between knowledge and the internal logical relationship,and also consider the cultivation of students' practical ability.The second part:when we use theme teaching in high school history class,we should make preparations before teaching,and grasp the principles and requirements of theme teaching.The preparatory work of theme teaching includes determining the teaching theme,clarifying the teaching content,analyzing the relationship between the teaching material content and the theme,integrating the teaching content around the teaching objectives,and designing the theme teaching according to the teaching objectives.At the same time,we should grasp the principles and requirements,including meeting the curriculum objectives,paying attention to the unity of knowledge and ability,integrating materials according to the characteristics of the discipline,and combining horizontal and vertical links.The third part is the research achievement of the theme "modern China learning from the west" in the field of history.This knowledge point covers two units in the teaching materials.The method of subject teaching can improve the teaching efficiency of teachers and improve the students' ability of thinking in history.At the same time,the author has consulted the national papers,Beijing papers and other college entrance examination papers in the last ten years,which provides some ideas for the teaching design of this topic.In the teaching design of this topic,teachers need to guide students to understand the process of modern China learning from the west,understand the process of modernization of modern China through the efforts of all classes.The fourth part:through the practice and reflection of the subject teaching design,the author has a deeper understanding and experience on the theme teaching method and practice of senior high school history.
