Nowadays,information technology and network technology are developing day by day.Video games are becoming more and more important in the field of leisure and entertainment,but they are also very close to the field of education.Many education experts have realized that video games are not only entertaining,but also of educational value.Video games can also combine their own entertainment and education to form an educational game,and this type of game is gradually born.More and more teachers and scholars recognize the educational function of entertainment video games.However,in our country,the society has a relatively late understanding of the educational nature of video games.At present,there are very few educational video games with historical themes developed around the history discipline.But the entertainment history game for profit is full of game market and occupies the main position.In previous middle school teaching,teachers generally opposed students' contact with video games,saying that they were not conducive to students' learning.However,simply preventing students from having access to video games could not cut them off from video games.Under the proper guidance,middle school students can improve their interest in learning history and acquire some history through some video games of historical themes.Knowledge.Therefore,under the guidance of the new curriculum reform,we should,on the one hand,be able to promote the history learning of middle school students by using the extensive entertainment video games on the market.On the other hand,we can develop educational historical theme educational game for middle school history teaching.This paper is mainly carried out through the following parts:the first part explains the general situation of historical video games,introduces the current popular and typical types of historical video games,explains the historical background and operation methods involved in them.Game process and goal,at the same time reflect the characteristics of video games.The second part through the questionnaire and the interview,explains the current secondary school teachers and students' attitude towards the history subject video game and the history theme electronic game in the middle school history teaching present situation.The third part takes the series of games "Total War" as an example to analyze the positive influence of video games on history teaching in middle schools.The noise and the problems that still exist.In the fourth part,the author gives some suggestions on how to make use of history video games in middle school history teaching.The fifth part,through specific teaching cases,explains how to use the historical video games in the history classroom teaching in middle school,and to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the use of historical video games in the classroom teaching through the case.
