Based on the literatures on self-management at home and abroad in recent years,this paper finds that there are few researches on the self-management of secondary vocational school students at home and abroad.Therefore,the author takes the Research on the Current Situation of Self-Management of Secondary Vocational School Students in Guizhou province as its research object.This paper,taking D School of Guizhou Province as the case,explores the current situation of self-management of secondary vocational school students in Guizhou province by means of literature research,investigation and action research,analyzes the existing problems in self-management of students,and puts forward the strategies to improve the self-management level of secondary vocational school students.This paper has compiled a questionnaire from seven dimensions: cognitive management,planning management,learning management,interpersonal relationship management,emotional management,daily life management and time management,and randomly selected 1000 students from the first,second and third grades of D School in Guizhou for investigation.In addition,six teachers,10 students and 10 parents were interviewed.The results of the survey are: secondary vocational school students have certain self-management ability,but are weak in the self-management of planning management,learning management,life management and time management;their self-management levels are closely linked with their ages,and the level of self-management gets higher as their ages increase;boys apparently have higher level in cognitive management and emotional management than girls;second-graders have a higher level than first-graders and third-graders;the students in towns are obviously higher than the rural students in emotional management;the students in the second grade are higher than the first grade and third grade students;student cadres are significantly better than students who are not student cadres in cognitive management,planning management,interpersonal management and time management;teachers,students' parents and students all believe that self-management is very important.According to the results of the survey,the author analyzes the problems in self-management of secondary vocational school students from three aspects of students themselves,family education and school education and their causes,and puts forward targeted solutions.Finally,the conclusions and shortcomings of this study are summarized.
