Micro-composition is a kind of composition-teaching method in Chinese lessons for senior students in the primary school.That is,at the stage of high grades in the elementary school,the pupils make use of a kind of instant composition-learning method which boasts short and focus in content,free in style,less in time,single in emotion,around 150 words in limitation of length.Composition-teaching plays an important role for Chinese-teaching,while composition-teaching for high grades(grades 5-6)is the most vital stage among the whole process.The advantages of micro-composition are such that it is easy for the teachers to instruct the students in less time,have strong target,operate and evaluate easily.Besides,the students just need to focus on one point to put things across and adopt different expression forms because of short composition.In so doing,micro-composition can eliminate the students' fear towards composition-writing,help them compose the articles easily,accumulate writing materials for the big composition and improve writing ability.With the development of times,the Chinese character micro--was elected Chinese annual character in 2012,micro-blog and micro-message or WeChat are increasingly popular with people.Conforming to this trend of times,micro-writing has entered the Chinese lessons in the primary and middle schools and has become a new form of composition-teaching.According to the 2011 version of Chinese Courses Criteria of Compulsory Education,composition is defined differently----composition in the middle school,word-writing in junior elementary school and exercise in composition in senior primary school.Micro-composition enters the Chinese lessons of senior primary school as a new form of composition-teaching,which is accordance with the requirements of era development and New Course Criteria.During the experiments of micro-composition for the high graders in elementary school,the teachers,guided by the relevant theories of micro-composition,design the experiment project according to the basic procedure of education and teaching.Here the teacher takes two classes of Grade five in Village Seven Primary School in Tanzhou Town,Zhongshan City as experimental subjects to carry on composition-teachingexperiment,which lasts a term.In the experiment classes,we carry on such micro--composition experiment : exercise in every class,write every day and make note every week integrating classes,extracurriculum and everyday life,while in regular classes,we just carry on routine compositio--teaching.At last we get the experimental results from the questionnaire and by comparing and analyzing unit and final exam scores.Through educational experiment,it is fully proved that micro-composition,especially composition--teaching makes sense to an extent to the Chiniese teaching for senior students in primary school.The merits are listed as follows: firstly,micro--composition fits the pupils' psychology and can be carried on among the senior students smoothly,so we can receive twice the result with half the effort;secondly,micro--composition lowers the difficulty in wrting,so it can stimulate and promote the students' interests in composition,consequently,it is easier for the students to accept;thirdly,when imbedding micro--composition into the reading--teaching and fusing writing and reading,we can expand the Chinese class connotation;Last but not least,micro--composition makes the pupils take delight in composing an article,be deligent in accumulating language,which will make the students get much experience in language expression ability.In a word,it is worthwhile to promote micro--composition in Chinese class of high grades in ordinary elementary school.Meanwhile,the experimental process also shows that we need to pay attention to several aspects if we want to micro--compose well: reasonable arrangement of time;good relationship between micro--composition and other assignments of Chinese lessons;teachers' knowleage level and accurate grasp the Chinese course plan and teaching syllabus.
