Elementary school composition has always been the focus and difficulty of language teaching.This is especially true for middle grade students in primary school.This stage is not only the consolidation and improvement of writing abilities got from lower grades,but also the foundation for writing in senior school.Therefore,it is necessary to seize the composition training of this critical transitional time.However,at present,there are many problems in the composition of middle school students,such as scattered composition and unclear writing ideas.Promoting teaching through information technology has become an important way of learning,and it will also become one of the methods to assist students in writing.While various writing assistant applications for primary school in China are mostly based on the provision of materials to assist essay writing,ignoring how to help students better grasp the structure of articles.In view of the above problems,this thesis studies the system solutions of composition outline assistance application that are applicable to the middle grade students in primary school to help students to outline before writing,so as to gradually improve the organization ability of students.The main tasks of design and implementation for the composition assistance application are as follows:Firstly,an overview analysis of the status quo of domestic and foreign composition aids was carried out,and the current situation of the writing,the needs and outline habits for the primary school middle grade students are analyzed,the main issue has been verified that the organization ability of students to write an article is insufficient and they can recognize the importance of outline but does not get used to generate an outline before writing.At the same time,through the analysis of related theories and techniques of composition,it provides theoretical and technical support for the design and implementation of this application.Secondly,on the basis of the foregoing analysis,strategies for composition outline assistance,including outline extraction,composition evaluation and so on,was proposed.Among them,there are three types of article outline-person,travel notes and small animals-to be extracted;There are three evaluation methods:scoring,labeling and comment.Finally,Based on the analysis for above theories and strategies,we designed the overall framework,main function modules,and database of the application,and then completed the teacher-side and student-side main functions,including assignment and management of homework,the outline assistance,the completion of homework,direct writing,my composition and community.In addition,the application has been tested and analyzed from three aspects:function,performance and application to verify the reliability and effectiveness of the system.This thesis provides an auxiliary tool based on article outline for Chinese writing education of middle stage students in elementary school.It effectively integrates teachers,students,and composition teaching goals.It not only helps teachers to understand the students' ability of writing,but also helps students to clarify the writing ideas in the way of outline and thus improve the ability of writing.
