A Historiography Of Sport History In France

The research of sport history maintains a long history,but the related researches that have been guided and discussed by different theories have led to the chaos of stages of the sport history and the conflict of the ideological kernel.However,these two things are the indispensable parts of the discussion and analysis of the sport history.Based on interdisciplinary research method,document and resource data method and logic analysis method,this paper analyzes the historiography of sport history in France according to the following parts.From the perspective of study of the historical philosophy,firstly,the thesis puts forward the problems and sums up the problems in the study of French sports historiography based on the theory of social philosophy;Secondly,with three development stages of historical philosophy--metaphysical,analytical,and narrative historical philosophy,the thesis combs the disciplinary background development of sport history in France,the development of French intellectual history and its transfer into the sport history field;Thirdly,on the basis of those,the thesis summarizes the process,stages and the ideological connotation of the development of sport history in France.This thesis focuses on the retrospect of the historiography of sport history in France and then reveals the veiled deep-seated track and further connotation of the historiography of sport history in France.It demonstrates that the process and feature of the historiography of sport history from the social history to the cultural history,and attaches more importance to the values of sport history on the level of cultural history.In the research,it highlights a trajectory of human mind and thought through the sport history and uses for reference to our history researches.
