Nowadays,the rapid development of Internet technology has promoted the reform of the studying mode of students.Well-developed Internet technology provides a possibility for the learners to study online.Online study is not limited by time and space,with various Internet studying resources available.To assist language studying with mobile devices has gradually drawn the attention of more learners,which has become a new studying mode for the present language studying.More and more senior high school students have also joined in the group of English online studying.However,mobile learning environment is different from the traditional English class.Without the guidance of teachers,students who are studying independently require favorable guidance for studying in order to achieve rational academic achievements,which is also the weak point of the studying ability of senior high school students.The essay focuses on the overall condition of English mobile learning of senior high school students and the language learning strategy of mobile learning.It brings about two issues:1.What learning strategies have senior high school students applied for English mobile learning? Which strategy is more frequently used?2.Is there a difference among senior high school students of different genders,arts or science subjects,and different levels of English in terms of their English mobile learning strategy?Based on the mobile learning theory and Oxford language learning strategy theory,the essay collects and analyzes domestic and foreign related studies.The author also adopt methods of questionnaires and interviews for the research.280 Grade 11 senior high school students from Jining No.1 High School took part in the survey and expressed their attitude of English mobile learning,reasons and mobilization for application of the strategy.According to the result,currently,senior high school students have not spent too much time on English mobile learning.The studying strategy they apply during English mobile learning is generally in the middle level.As to the 6 basic learning strategies of Oxford,what is used more frequently is the compensation strategy,while the social relationship strategy is used the least.There's no obvious difference between boys and girls considering their strategy,and there's also no prominent difference between arts or science students on their strategies.However,there's some difference of strategy between students with different English abilities.In accordance with the result,the author proposes that teachers shall concentrate more on the cultivation of learning strategy of senior high school students in the future teaching.They shall provide a correct guidance for students to apply their mobile language studying strategy,helping them to find the most appropriate way of mobile learning so as to enhance their independent studying ability of language.
