Since the middle of twentieth Century,China's distance education has become an integral part of the higher education system,and it has effectively met the demand for reeducation of a large number of groups,and has played a good role in promoting the overall cultural level of the society.Guangdong Open University,as a distance education institution,has been 40 years since its establishment,and with the transformation of the National Radio and Television University into the Open University,how to keep and improve the quality of teaching has become the key point.Among them,optimizing the existing teaching quality evaluation index system has become the first reference factor to judge and measure the quality of teaching.In the course of the study,the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and comparative analysis method are used to summarize the relevant literature on the evaluation index system of distance education teaching quality by scholars both at home and abroad,and the system of distance teaching quality,distance teaching quality evaluation theory and teaching quality evaluation index system.The core concept is the support framework,analyzes the present situation and existing problems of the evaluation index system of distance education teaching quality in Guangdong Open University,and compares the experience of the distance teaching quality evaluation index system of the United States,Britain and other countries,and puts forward some reference suggestions for the optimization teaching quality evaluation index system of Guangdong Open University.Optimize the evaluation index system of teaching quality and put forward effective suggestions.
