"Poetry" life is a way of life that people pursue,but the development of modern science and technology has led people to the opposite direction.By reading the literatures on the study of new poem,the author finds that the lack of poetry in the teaching of new poems is a more general situation.The poetic return of the new poems echoes the way of life that people pursue.Therefore,the author attempts to wake up people inner "poetry" by realizing the regression of poetry in middle school new poem teaching.The first chapter of this paper mainly analyzes the current situation and problem from the three aspects of textbooks,teacher's teaching and students' study.The second chapter mainly explains the cultural background of writing,the basic meaning of "poetry",its specific meaning as a literary genre and its unique value and significance in the teaching of new poem.The third chapter analyzes three main reasons of lack of poetry in new poem teaching: the impact of the examination-oriented education system,the lack of instruction of new poem of teachers,the understanding of new poem of students is not correct,and three adverse effects including it's bad to cultivate students' creativity.The fourth chapter tries to find the ideas and methods of benefit to realize the regression of poetry in new poem teaching: guide students to image,guide them use the “beauty reading”,and guide them use “understand the living environment to know a person” approach.
