Chinese new poetry has a hundred years of development history.It has become an important part of Chinese teaching in middle schools with its novel form,rich content and unique modern humanistic spirit.Learning new poetry helps students to accumulate beautiful language,improve aesthetic taste and promote the development of thinking.However,the current situation of new poetry teaching in middle school Chinese is not optimistic.Some teachers do not accurately grasp the stylistic characteristics of the new poetry "modernity",which makes the new poetry teaching tend to deviate.This article will take the new poetry selection in the middle school Chinese textbook as an example,and discuss the "modernity" of the new poetry in detail,combine the reading feelings of the new poetry research results with the new poetry teaching practice,and try to propose appropriate new poetry teaching strategies.The main body of the paper has three parts.The first part is an overview of the teaching of new poetry in middle school.Firstly,it summarizes the development of Chinese new poetry.Secondly,it analyzes the theoretical guidance of new poetry teaching in middle school.It is the requirement of Chinese curriculum standard for new poetry teaching,the selection of Chinese textbook new poetry and the selection of post-class exercises.The analysis is finally the dilemma facing the teaching of new poetry in middle school.The second part is the analysis of the modernity of the new poem.This part explores the "modernity" of the new poetry from three aspects: modern language,modern thinking and modern emotion.The third part is about the teaching strategy of new poetry in middle school.This part combines the new poetry works in middle school Chinese textbooks,and proposes strategies from the perspectives of theme extraction,image embellishment,verbal reading,aesthetic rhythm,Chinese and foreign comparisons and ancient and modern comparisons.Provide reference for the teaching of new poetry for frontline teachers.
