Teacher is the main force in education,and the level of teacher's professional development directly influences the quality of education.English,as one of the most widely used languages in the world,has become an important tool for international communication and communication.Setting up English courses in compulsory education is of great significance to the future development of teenagers.The English teachers of the primary school,as the majority of young learners of English Enlightenment,their professional development level will directly affect the quality of primary school English teaching.In this study,14 English teachers in an experimental primary school in Suzhou were taken as the research object.Through questionnaires and face-to-face interviews,the present situation of the 14 teachers' professional development was investigated.In view of the present situation of the teachers,the author made a deep analysis and found that the objective factors affect the professional development of primary school English teachers are: The tasks of the teachers are heavy,the time is not enough,the restrictions of continuing education and training are limited,the teaching and research conditions are limited,and the atmosphere is not strong.The subjective factors of primary school English teachers' professional development are: Teachers' family burden,life stress;teachers' awareness and understanding of the professional development of teachers' professional knowledge is not deep enough;and the lack of theoretical knowledge;teaching reflection is not in place.In view of these problems,the author believes that to solve these problems,we should start with schools and teachers personally,and propose strategies to improve the professional development level of primary school English teachers.For schools,requires the timely introduction of new teachers,accelerate the benign competition in teachers;support the professional development of teachers at the same time,to carry outvarious forms of teaching and research activities;actively promote the construction of school culture,teachers' professional development to create atmosphere.For teachers,we must change the concept of development,develop self-awareness;actively learn professional knowledge,improve the professional level;to develop a good habit of reflection;to improve the teaching ability of teachers.
