Since the 20 th century,the status of science and technology has been continuously improved in the development of human society,and science curriculum reform and development have also drawn the widespread attention of education departments and scholars.In recent year,more and more scholars focus on the curriculum standard of developed countries,only a few people pay attention to the primary science curriculum standards of developing countries.Thailand <Basic Education Core curriculum A.D 2008> has been implemented 10 years,which is enough to see its advantages.Through analyzing systematic translation of Thai and English materials,we obtains valuable things to provide reference and assistance for our country's revision of science curriculum.This article consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly includes the reasons for selection of topics,research significance,literature review,research methods,and innovations.So that we can put forward the new opinions on the basis of summarizing predecessors' researches.The second part is the general situation of Thailand primary school science curriculum.It mainly introduces the development of basic education in Thailand,several major reforms in the science curriculum,and the background of the standard curriculum of Thailand primary science curriculum in 2008.Among them,there are many reasons for the formulation of primary school science curriculum standards,such as: the need for economic development in Thailand,the disadvantages of curriculum standards in 2001,the formulation of the “10th National Economic and Social Development Plan 2007-2016”,and the influence of elementary school science curriculum reform all around the world.The third part,is to analyze the primary schools science curriculum standard texts of Thailand in 2008.This part is the principal part of the thesis,and it mainly expounding the contents of the framework,guiding ideology,curriculum objectives,curriculum content and implementation suggestions of the 2008 elementary school science curriculum standards in Thailand.The fourth part is the enlightenment of Thailand elementary school science curriculum standard to our country.This part introduces the deficiencies in China's current primary school science curriculum standards,and we hope that our country will be able to establish systematic scientific curriculum system and ensure the continuity of the curriculum;and attach importance to the innate character of science and technology,pay attention to the results of learning;improve the status of science courses and ensure the localization of curriculum Content;and improve the curriculum evaluation system.The fifth part is the conclusion.Summarize the main content of the paper,find out the shortcoming of the article and point out the directions that we need efforts in the future.
