Culture is the root of nations.Chinese traditional culture is the crystallization of history and cultural heritage inherited by ancestors.Today,in the diversified background,we can't ignore the inherent traditional culture while actively learning foreign cultures.In the information era,we have more and more ways to accept traditional culture,while traditional culture content in textbooks is not prominent enough,which reduces people's attention about it.However,the Chinese subject possesses a unique advantage in education,and this subject nature makes Chinese textbook play an important role in inheriting traditional culture.So,it is necessary to dig and analyze the relevant contents of traditional culture in Chinese textbooks.At this stage,there is a few data about official edition textbooks.This study is based on the discussion of Chinese traditional culture connotative,and explores the development of traditional culture content in Chinese textbooks,through comparative analyzing official edition and PEP edition the two first-grade Chinese textbooks.This paper is divided into five parts,the concrete content is as follows:The first part is the introduction.It summarizes the origin,related literature review,concept definition,the purpose,the significance of the study,research methods and the innovation point.The second part is the theoretical discussion about traditional culture,including traditional culture connotation,the main content of traditional culture thought and the formulation of traditional cultural elements' analysis framework.Through the research on traditional cultural connotation and the previous research on traditional cultural analysis category,this part divides the analysis dimension into five categories,and analyzes the specific categories included in each dimension.This part is the focus of this research.The third part is the research on the general comparison of textbooks.This part compares the overall arrangement structure of the two textbooks,the quantity of traditional cultural texts and the situation of traditional culture elements in textbooks.The fourth part is the comparative study on the specific types of traditional culturalelements in two kinds of textbooks.This part makes a detailed statistical analysis of the specific categories of five traditional cultural elements.Furthermore,it mainly analyzes the quantity of texts in each category and the percentage of the elements number.The fifth part states the conclusion about the two kinds of textbooks firstly.It mainly consists of four aspects,it is more logical to arrange the traditional cultural elements in the official editiont.It is not enough to pay attention to the traditional ethics of education.The traditional cultural elements and the proportion of various items are unequally distributed in the both textbooks,and they lack the scientific and technological elements and other nations' traditional culture respectively.Secondly,this part states the thought of traditional culture content selection and organization in primary school Chinese textbooks from three aspects.First,traditional culture elements of the layout should respect the principle of gradual and make the arrangement more logical.Secondly,the selection of traditional cultural elements should be diversified and the content distribution is more reasonable.Third,the choice of elements should also pay attention to the cultivation of students' Chinese quality and carry forward the humanistic spirit.
